Located in downtown Angus, Ontario, this motel is 10 minutes' drive from Base Borden Military Museum. It features an outdoor pool, hot tub, and playground. Free Wi-Fi access is available. A flat-screen TV with cable is included in every room at the Angus Inn Motel. They are equipped with a microwave, refrigerator and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and furnished with a work desk. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day. The motel is pet friendly and also has BBQ facilities on site. The Minesing Wetlands Conservation Area is 3.4 mi from the Angus Motel. - Had kitchenette
- Comfy firm mattresses, a microwave, little fridge, toaster, and coffee maker in my room. Nice outdoor pool. Very close to CFB Borden, close to many restaurants. A nice, quiet stay while visiting my son on the base.
Cons -
- Smelled of cigarette smoke. Bedspread had cigarette burns. No cups for coffee maker. Microwave not working.
- The TV didn't work. Called the front desk and got no answer. Went down to the front desk later and an employee tried to fix it but couldn't. Said he would let the owners know and have them fix it...never happened. Not the biggest deal in the world,
