Glenghorm Beach Resort is located on the Cabot Trail in Ingonish. It features a private white sand beach. WiFi is available in public areas of the property. Simply furnished rooms include wooden furniture and a TV. A coffee maker and ironing facilities are also provided. The on-site Thirsty Hiker Pub features a pub-style menu and live entertainment from Wednesdays to Saturdays, June through October. Horseshoes and other lawn games are available at the resort. Location was convenient. Office and restaurant area were attractive and clean.
Having an on-site restaurant was nice. The free breakfast was also a perk.
Perfect stopping point for the trip around the Cabot Trail. The deluxe suite was very spacious and the water view was really nice. The included breakfast was good as well and staff we met were very friendly.

Cons -

Our building and room were shabby and in dire need of maintenance. Furniture was badly worn, faucet in bathroom was loose, linoleum around the toilet was missing , and places inside and out badly needed paint. The guest laundry facility was inconvenient.
The grounds were run down. It was disappointing that the photos did not match the reality.
We stayed as a couple so the price was a bit steep but two couples sharing the suite would have been fine price wise.

Food and staff were great.

The noise at night until 3am both nights so not much sleep and the rooms need an update getting a bit run down!
