Hollywood Hotel

This property was old and outdated. The pics advertised are nothing like the actual hotel. The bathroom is full of mildew, wet and stinky. The linen had a stain on it. The a/c was working. I asked why wasn’t I told this at check in and was told “take it up with the manager” ? the front desk agent also recommended that I open the door to my patio to get some fresh air. That was totally unacceptable. I did ask the front desk to reassign me another room and was told they were sold out. But after going back to the elevator another couple said there room was even worst and had decided to check out. Management did nothing and on top of that charged us $52 @day parking but the parking lot was half full of falling tree debris and old garbage. AVOID this hotel at ALL costs!

Interior exterior, mold and mildew everywhere. Front desk rude and never informed us the a/c was out for two weeks prior. Parking $52@ day and breakfast overpriced. Bag of chips $8, soda $7 and an omelet $29. Insane prices for a 2 star hotel.

Our room was spacious and clean. We loved the location. There were lots of lovely restaurants in the area. It was easy to access busses to all of the sites we wanted to see!

The staff are very polite and professional. The close location to The Los Felix area and metro made dinner and travel options convenient. The outdoor pool was a bonus!

The rooms are cozy, just need a few cosmetic improvements.

$42/night for parking was a bit pricey. Blow dryer didn't work. But they were quick to bring up one thst worked. No extra rolls of toilet paper in bathroom. Had to call & wait for it was inconvenient. Water & sides in the vending machine were ridiculously priced.

Spacious clean and quiet room. Small balcony overlooked gardens. Convenient location for metro users and Griffith Observatory and Greek Theater. Nearby Bistro restaurant excellent too.

Breakfast was a disappointment and took forever to be served.

Location near a questionable area but nothing happened to us

Great location and nice interior.

Staff were not friendly. I called housekeeping twice for hand soap coz the dispenser was empty. No one bothered to come to our room. Parking was expensive.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable

The staff was rude and not helpful. We stayed one night and our neighbors were having a party next door and playing their music very loudly. We asked the front desk to switch rooms and the man told us we were only staying one night so he wouldn't move us. He then lied and said they were sold out of rooms when there were plenty available online. Every staff member we saw never smiled at us in passing and they all looked miserable like they hated their jobs. Really soured the experience.

It was a very comfortable hotel room with nice facilities.

The area surrounding it was just the busy street. There was no soap and body wash when we got there. The hand soap dispenser was broken. The AC was kind of weak. The TV needed google chrome and even then, we couldn’t access the TV with google chrome as there was a complicated system I had to do in which I had to try downloading two different apps to see which one worked and they both didn’t. I already have google chrome at home but it wasn’t as difficult as that process so we didn’t have much entertainment in the hotel room.

Close to a lot of tourist spots

No bidet nor telephone shower head. Expensive parking rate.
