Dirty and unclean rooms

The staff treats you like shift from Check in to check out. The night lady who checked me in could learn manners and better customer service. She also tried to keep my 200 cash only deposit because I didn’t turn my key in I left in the room

The check in was a breeze and the front desk clerk was very cordial and offered great customer service. The room was very spacious and clean. I had copious amounts of towels that were changed every day, without asking. I loved how close everything was. I was able to go to my yoga classes, go hiking up near Runyon, and able to walk to Hollywood BLVD for some food and snacks. There's definitely noise around, but this is LA -- there's noise everywhere, especially at a prime location like this one. This is an older building, but they have definitely done some renovations. For the price, it's actually quite good. OH, and I had private parking. I felt safe and secure. Thank you.

There was a towel that was stained, so it would be great to make sure those towels aren't re-used.

Card key always went out had to go get recharge every time we came back to room and also internet was out no fridge in room

The location is great. The office staff did their best to accommodate me.

Be prepared for the following;- Cash only on everything in person so pay online if you want to avoid this. - Standing shower only, no tub style. - No ice machine, no beverage dispenser- The office appears to be closed at all times, with a walk-up window only available. - Did not ask for make, model or license plate of the vehicle I was driving nor did they provide a parking pass.It's inexpensive for a reason. Location is great, price is great. You get what you pay for.

The rooms felt updated with the cute sky like painted ceiling. Huge flat screen TV in the room. Loved the TV storage unit that allowed for extra storage. Updated shower features like a waterfall shower head, and tile work in bathroom made it feel elevated. Spacious shower and toilet area that is separate from sink. Bright light above vanity that helps with getting ready i.e make up. Free parking. Quick check in. Beds felt comfy. Location is good.

Unfortunately, it smelled of mildew. Carpets felt old and smelly, a bit of moisture where the AC unit was. It was hot out, and the A/C unit did not do much to cool down the room. We had an upstairs room too and were sweaty all night. That's considering we had the a/c running non-stop all day/ night. The window blinds and shear curtains are cute but do nothing for blocking out the bright early morning light/heat. The floors inside the room and outside were uneven in random areas, like there are structural issues. Kinda concerning for safety. Would trade all the bathroom upgrades for a good AC unit. Oh, and no hair dryer. Not a big deal breaker but would be nice to have.

I've been there three times, and this was the worse one yet. Hotel is in a great location, but I will not be staying there again.

The water pressure was horrible, the bed was loud from squeaking, and I had to wait 20 minutes to get a key remade.
