Augusta Trarbach

Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Jan and Sarah were nice and they accommodated a hot water pot for us.

There is no parking at hotel. We arrived about 7pm and had to park in paid parking along the Mosel River. Short walk to hotel.

In error,we indicated that we were going to be checking in at 1:00AM.The manager offered to meet us in person to give us the key…can’t be more customer focussed than that.Greatly appreciated.The waitress serving breakfast the following morning was also charming

Good location in town, friendly staff and decent breakfast.

The part of the property we were staying in (opposite the main building) smelled badly of damp. The room was not clean. The layout of the 4-person room is totally impractical. Very narrow stairs right through the middle of the room, easy to slip and fall down, not enough space to stand in the upstairs sleeping area.

It was incredibly hot (90 degrees F) during our stay. There was no fan or air conditioning. A fan in each room would've been helpful. The location was fine. I noticed one couple parked their car right in front of the hotel on what I thought was the sidewalk. If that was indeed a parking space, it would've been nice to have known you could park there. We parked a 5 minute walk away (still convenient enough) and parking was very inexpensive. Breakfast and speaking with the woman who was making our breakfast was definitely the best part of this stay. She was fantastic as was the breakfast. Our sleep was very difficult. Given Germany may be in a heat wave for the past 4 summers or so, this hotel should have fans in each room, in the least.

There were no fans (or A/C). It was so incredibly hot, it was difficult for all of us to sleep, even though the bed was excellent and room quiet.

I loved the old traditional house and the room. It was right in the center with castle ruins and good restaurants close by

It would have been nice if their restaurant would have been open, too

Charming, characterful and comfortable. Beautiful café/wine garden. Can recommend the home-made lemonade.

Minor point - wifi didn't reach to our top-floor room.

Very friendly staff and a beautiful old building functioning as a mix of cafe and B&B. We were greeted with a glass of sekt and shown to our very fine and spacious room that both had a bedroom and a living room (we suspect we were upgraded without knowing for sure).Best breakfast we had for very long!If you are biking in the area, they have a small closed yard for storing the bikes.Highly recommended

A great little hotel with tonnes of character, a lovely shaded terrace to enjoy a meal and a drink, and friendly staff. The restaurant was set up beautifully for breakfast. There was also a garage to park bikes.

The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but it was still fine.

Location When I arrived I was helped by two woman who assisted me with bringing my bike panniers to my room. They have a safe place to store my bicycle. The location was perfect for my bike tour on the Mosel. Love the historic building. Over all I would highly recommend and would stay again. Breakfast was great although I don't eat much before riding.

Exceptional staff, great breakfast and a perfectly stacked bar. If you like ambitious hotels, you will like it here very tomorrow. The interior is in perfect harmony with the historic building and the area. Bicycles can be parked free of charge in a garage.

The hotel has a very nice patio in the historic part of town. The hotel is in a beautiful old house but with modern facilities. The breakfast was served at the table and of high quality. The room was spacious and cosy.

We stayed for 3 nights and no cleaning in between, also no clean towels or anything. would have been good to at least get clean towels 1 time during the 3 night stay.

Cozy atmosphere, with nice owners. Good breakfast and the city have some good restaurants. A stop at both Augusta and Trabach is highly recommended.

Perfect location, very friendly staff and owner. The hotel had very cute details and we loved our time there. The owner gave us great tips and even booked a restourant for us. Also, the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommending!

This bed and breakfast is very charming. The decoration is tasteful, the dining room/terrace is cozy, and the owner places a lot of attention on the details including the breakfast.
