Pros +
- I liked that it was clean and quiet.
- It's a neat little hostel, good value
- Right by the motorway, perfect for a stop on a long drive to the alps. The rooms were fine for what we wanted -it was an upgrade to sleeping in the car. The breakfast in the morning was toast + coffee and cereal, again, good for the price. Check in experience was good - arrived about midnight, put in your booking code into a machine, and it spits out a code that lets you into your room.
Cons -
- The rooms were extremely small, lacked basic amenities such as a private toilet, and the shared facilities were unhygienic and tiny. The overall appearance of the hotel was dirty and unwelcoming.Staff was of no help.
- It was a little far away from the train station, and I had to walk 35 min to reach the hotel
- No English or German spoken by the staff. I suggest getting a tablet with Google Translate to help.

I knew it was a basic hotel, but they had no toilet seat on the toilets. Our needs were basic: a bed, shower + clean toilet. They ticked the first two boxes, but I couldn't really use the toilet - having to sit on porcelain with a communal toilet is horrible!
Bad
Everything was dirty , no towels for towels u need to pay extra 3 euro. To avoid
Disappointing
The room lock was broken and in the middle of the night other person entered in the room, that’s only possible if they have the code, so the staff gave up our room code to other guest.
Price was ok, the bed was clean, room was warm. But the staff was very unprofessional, hotel policy is bad (let paying the guests to get a Towel, then there was lacking of towel! Then didn’t want to reimburse!!
see above Towel history
Good location, secure, good parking, nearby places to eat late at night.
Couldn't use the communal toilets. Use your imagination. Whole place smelled of disinfectant. You get what you pay for.
It is close to the highway.
Because we arrived during night the only way to get into the hotel was by getting a entry code at a machine. Despite already paying for the room via booking we were required to make a second payment to obtain the entry code. In the morning, we tried to explain the situation to a manager but without success as she only spoke French and tried to convince us that we couldn't have paid double (despite using the same credit card and showing her the transactions).... One month later, no refund was received from booking.com or the accommodation Furthermore, despite having non-smoking room the smell in the room was horrible! Even after washing our clothes you could still smell the smoke in them... Lastly, only one floor is renovated with decent showers/toilets whereas the old, 2nd floor has no working toilets...If you can, spend those 10€ extra an go to a hotel few meters away...
Good hotel to spend a night while traveling. For the price, the rooms were fine.
The rooms did not have private toilets, and only one toilet worked in the hallways.
Despite a scruffy exterior, the communal area and bedrooms were very good. Lovely, ‘vintage travel style poster’ wallpaper and exceptionally clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Great free breakfast and friendly staff. We were on our way to Switzerland and Italy so perfect half way stop from Calais.
Bit tricky to access front door after staff had left. The keyboard was low and no lighting to see numbers clearly.
Very affordable stay for travelers, located just few steps from the motorway. Check-in 24h, all automatic. There was a tiny personal sink and water in the room.
Out of two booked rooms, one had a used bed lines, so we had to squeeze into the other one as in the night there were no one to complain to. Shared facilities were half-way clean, but many toilettes were broken and thus closed. Automatic registration machine didn't accept our data and then GUI crashed, so we have seen Windows on the machine's screen. After automatic restart, the check-in was successfully done.
Good price, helpful staff, location next to the expressway, spacious room.
The code to the room didn't work and the reception was closed already since we arrived late in the night. However, after calling the emergency number written in the reception, a staff member came and fixed the problem. :) No other things that we didn't like.
This was the best hostel I have ever stayed, the building is new and recently opened so was spotlessly clean with no expense spared on fittings. The room was large, the bunk beds had individual curtains, lights and plugs for chargers. Towels were provided and the showers were spotless and large. A real 5 star hostel.
Nothing it was perfect
It's a scam, after booking there was 2 kids in my room, they don't answer any call just on watsapp, it's a very old building and the apartment is highly renovated to get you intrested, I think what they do is wait until you sleep and come after you with weapons to collect money or even if it's a bigger gang they are able to kill you so they're sure you won't report to policeBooking should be ashamed for not verifying users better!!!
Price, cleanliness of shared toilets and showers, proximity to motorway and to a very interesting anomaly in the French - German border. The main road, 1km from the hotel, has 4 parallel sections: a northbound slip road on the French side, the main drag carrying the vast majority of the traffic, another southbound slip road on the other side of road, but still in France, and a SECONDARY southbound sliproad of the very same road which is in Germany and which has its own small set of shops and bars in Germany which lie 10 metres from the border. Also, these places often seem to present undesirables hanging around, but strangely they cause no bother at all.
It's nearly impossible to bidet unless you use the toilet flush as a bidet or bunk up onto your angle set sink in the room (just possible for me as I am fit and very tall). Better to have a plastic, hospital style bed bottle if you're a man, and women MAY wish to take a coverable bed pan equivalent. Otherwise, you end up fiddling about with 50m walks, combination locks and bright, sleep-destroying lights in the corridor. No toilets in the rooms...main reason for cheapness.
It had all necessary utilities.
The room and pillows smelled like smoke. It doesn't give anything more than the bare minimum, okay but just for a quick stay.
The location was convenient. Parking was available and pets are allowed. There was small sink in the room.
Overall the room looked good, although very small . When walking in we were heat with a strong smell of cigarettes, which made it uncomfortable to sleep in.

Very dirty and smelly did not stay one night at this property wasn’t fit to sleep in you would not let a pet sleep there
Never got there. Car breakdown meant we had to stay elsewhere whilst it was repaired Hotel refused to negotiate a reduced cancellation fee so we had to pay full price for the room we never got to use
