Hotel room is spacious with a nice lake view. The staff were very friendly & helpful! The wine tasting activity was superb! The wines were excellent & they serve very nice ham to go with wines. The atmosphere was great!

The town, our room overlooking Lake Maggiore, our dinner at the hotel.

The location on the lake is very nice, calm and peaceful. The Hotel as every thing you need. The Town is one of those gems along the lake with just enough atmosphere of an evening but not over busy. We travelled by car and stored it in the Hotel garage which was secure and under the hotel. Pre book your slot. The staff were fabulous, helpful and friendly. We did enjoy the wine tasting experience in the hotels wine cellar. Some lovely wines to bring home.Definitely go back.

Great hotel in great landscape. Perfect friendly service at reception, restaurant and cafe as well rooms. Nice trips on boat at Lago maggiore avaiable, Free parking.

All the staff were extremely personable and helpful. Nice restaurant providing good breakfast. Lunch and dinner also available. Pleasant room with a view across the lake. Hotel location is first rate. Nice bar, well used by guests.

Parking - parking is a few minutes walk away from the hotel - the situation could have been clearer in terms of access, location etc

Beautiful hotel in a very beautiful location. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Good size, clean room, modestly decorated. Bathroom on the small side. Delicious breakfast.

The walls are paper thin! You can hear absolutely everything that your neighbors say and do! I definitely did not enjoy our neighbors' nightly adventures, which we could hear in detail! I was glad we did not have any children in our room as it would have been embarrassing....

The outdoor areas are very beautiful and it is right by the lake.

The bed was a bit hard.

Location - fantastic, quiet, right on the lake on a beautiful path and within easy walking distance to restaurants. Breakfast - delicious, well stocked and varied. Bar - also right on the water, nice selection of food items and drinks. Bar staff was excellent!Wine cave - quaint, nice tastings and wine selections. Great service!Service - the staff was helpful and friendly.

Beautiful location and excellent old fashioned hotel with style and charm. Excellent room, very comfortable. Lifts worked well. Food was good. Excellent swimming pool. Good value for money. The staff were wonderful and funny and friendly.

As an elderly person, Not a lot to do in the village, not many restaurants or shops and geographically it is a long way from any ‘entertainment’ . There are ferry boats calling into the landing stage to the hotel. Everything is a long way. If you go, take books and walking boots although the walking is steep.

The location is excellent right at the front in Cannero and opposite the ferry stop.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like

One of the most beautiful hotels i have ever stayed in! Staff were absolutely amazing, from the reception desk to the restaurant staff. We really were made feel at home. The breakfast was great also! I would absolutely stay again.

The room we stayed in was a little outdated but this would not put me off staying again. The overall vibe of the hotel ensured this didn’t matter too much, and it was clean and functional.

Bathroom was a bit old fashioned with shower in the bath. Manageable though

Fantastic location. Property has real character, lots of nooks and crannies. Excellent pool area. Very spacious. Lovely terraces for breakfast. Lots of food choices. Evening meal good value. Free sweets at reception!

Loved everything!

A great relaxing stop for a few days, close to everything you need. Right in front of the ferry terminal. Nice breakfast.

Absolutely fantastic locations, overlooking the Italian shore of Lake Maggiore. Most importantly, would we go back, without hesitation. Boat ferry station opposite, for visiting nearby towns. Local marina also offering boat transportation as well as boat hire. Hotel has a pool and sun terraces, plentiful dining seating. Menu options for evening meals varied. Breakfast buffet style with all options constantly replenished. Staff are fantastic, across the board, whether front of house, or throughout the hotel. Attentive but not overly. Really wonderful experience.

Small personal preference, a coffee / tea /, kettle in room. Though roo service is available at an extra cost for a drink on your balcony to take in the view if you have one.
