Hotel Villa Undulna - Terme della Versilia

Beautiful grounds- but I’ve never seen so many mosquitoes before in my life… and I’ve been to the Amazon. It sadly made the outdoor space unusable at night. Pool is indoors and most of the doors are closed so it was suffocating to be in there in late September. (And I’m a competitive swimmer used to these things).

Our apartment was not equipped for kitchen use- no sponge or dish soap (just dishwasher- so couldn’t wash our cutting board!), missing salt and pepper and oil, and missing laundry detergent. Had enough coffee pods for 1 day. We were able to ask for some of those things with some difficulty- staff brought us a literal cup of laundry soap for example. Staff were great!

All of the accommodations were wonderful. I really enjoyed the pool and spa facilities and I am now a Kneipp path convert. We paid for breakfast and it was well worth it, with a wide variety of fruit and sweet and savory pastries. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant several nights during our stay.

I wish that transportation in the area was better. This is by no means the fault of the property, but we ventured to Forte dei Marmi on Sunday and then experienced great difficulty finding a taxi to take us back to the hotel.

Everything was great! the property itself is super clean as well as the rooms! Caterina and the staff was great! we traveled with our cat from Switzerland and the cleaning ladies apart from being nice, they always made sure our cat was safe! this really gave us a piece of mind throughout the entire week that we where there. Thanks again for our magnificent suite with view to the ocean! The staff in the restaurant was super attentive too! our coffee was served without even asking after they knew our preferences.This is our hotel of choice every year when we travel to forte! The free bicycles to explore the city was great and the breakfast with fresh pastries was delicious too!

My stay was just perfect for both the room which was very clean and spacious, the property is in the perfect location with beautiful park and lovely pool perfect for swimming laps and spa for relaxing. I am sorry I could not stay for longer!

Laundry took too long time. Additional charges for many small things which could have been included.

They need to change the mattress and the pillows in the rooms

The swimming pool and the garden were very relaxing. The beach was right across the street. The restaurant was very good. The breakfast excellent as well. I was offered nice options for gluten-free food. The staff was very friendly and caring. Bikes available.

Not much going on in the direct neighbourhood in terms of stores, events and restaurants.

Just location

I had to check out earlier than usual and so I couldn’t use the breakfast service. They have suggested me for a meal box once I will checkout, but at the end they didn’t give anything and I didn’t ask on porpoise

The staff and grounds of the hotel are amazing but the rooms are very tired. The walls in the apartment are paper thin, and I could hear peoples full conversations in the next hotel rooms.

The rooms are very tired and need a refresh. The plugs in the rooms didn't work with modern plugs or adapters which was frustrating. It would be easy to add hooks or more kitchen tools to make ihr stay more comfortable.

Nice thermal pool, comfy bed and spacious room. Breakfast is excellent. Close the the beach and some restaurants.

Some of the standard rooms are for people with disabilities and there is a plastic curtain that makes a mess when taking a shower.

There was absolutely nothing not to like! Everything was extraordinary from the facilities to the food and the wonderful service from the kind staff. The swimming pool was covered which allowed for swimming even on rainy days and the beach was just across the street. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a calm and relaxing vacation (where dogs are also welcome, which made us love the place even more!)

This mistake was our own! We arrived by train from Milan and didn't rent a car which made going on trips a bit difficult. But it was definitely possible. The staff was so kind to help us order taxis when needed and check the timetables of the busses and trains. We loved our stay and are wishing to come back some day!

Room is very very wide, gentle.

It is little bit dark in room. It is no window.

It was perfect! We had an apartment, it was big and clean, with all you could need. Also washing Maschine was there, you have to have your own detergent. We also booked extra a breakfast for 20 Euro p.p. in the hotel. The hotel has a perfect position. You go through the garden, across the street and there is a free beach. We had our stuff, but sun lounges and parasols can be rented in the beach clubs. As it was so close to the hotel, we went with our daughter to swim and build the sand castle in the morning and went back to the pool and shadow bellow the trees in the hotel garden for the noon. There is gelateria just on the corner and a great restaurant Vintage, with great food and cocktails 200m from the hotel. Bikes are also available free from charge even with baby seat.

We have no negative point! We read in some reviews that it is noisy. The airport we did not hear, like 1-2 a day a rescue helicopter went away and came back. Si this did not bother us at all.above our apartment the lady was wearing heels all the time, so this you hear, but I thing that this you would hear in every hotel.

Quiet and relaxing place, with friendly stuff and located very close to the beach.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice garden and a good restaurant but the property itself need some updates!

The hotel is on a crossroad and in the opposite of a helicopter airport.So it is loud. The bathroom was mouldy and the air condition was very loud.

The staf was like a family to us .. helpful and they suggest to do services for us The place is always clean They care about swimming pool the hair should be covered and the life gard is always in responseThe food is delicious in the resurant all the time

The bed is not comfortable the towels are clean but they need to be changed

The Hotel is well kept overall, nice garden, nice pool and pool with hydromassage, awesome breakfast, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, room was clean and with a nice balcony, it's very close to the beach and you can use hotel's bicycles to go anywhere.

I didn't like the SPA area and for me the "water experience" was included on the price for the stay, but it wasn't. The SPA area is underground so it's in a dark area downstairs where it can feel a little bit suffocating. It was not clear for me that paying for the stay the "water experience" wasn't included. So if I wanted to do that I had to pay the price with a small discount, but still expensive. That part should be more clear for those staying overnight at the hotel. Also the massage and other things, the overnight guests should have a better price but once again, no one offered that. Plus the SPA area is a little bit outdated.. I would not recommend. So we decided just to enjoy the pools that have thermal water and the hydromassage was great for me. Also it lacked a little bit more interest of the front desk staff to offer us the services that the hotel has. For example, nobody talked about lunch or dinner at the hotel. They have a restaurant there but nobody mentioned or advertised that for us. So we when check the menu by ourselves and found it a bit on the expensive side. Also the air conditioning in the room is so laud. OMG there's no way to lower it, the door/window don't have the screen for the mosquitos so if you turn off AC you can't leave the door open because of mosquitos. Definitely the hotel needs to install the screen in every window.

close to the beach and lots of restaurants so it was really what we were looking for and easy parking as well

Free private parking, free bike rental, big swimming pool, great location near the beach, clean rooms and helpful staff.

Breakfasts could be more diverse especially for that price.
