    Pros +

    • Nothing other than its location
    • Location is great. Service is pathetic! The recent renovation has done not much for this property.
    • The room was amazing, the grounds were beautiful, the food was goodabd the staff were all very friendly and attentive.

    Cons -

    • Many things and I wrote to the Intercontinental Head Office who promptly gave me the cold shoulder and referred my complaint to the hotel, who haven’t bothered to respond
    • ServiceService at Spa
    • We enjoyed the ping pong table, though it was a bit tricky to use during rain and wind. A covered area could make it even better!

The hotel is beautiful and well-organized, with a great location in the forest and stunning natural views. The staff are very kind, the place is clean, the rooms are comfortable and lovely, and the food is delicious.

The hotel is set in a historic château surrounded by forest. The charm, style, and design are truly exceptional. The staff is very kind and attentive, always ready to help. Breakfasts are delightful, and the swimming pool is perfect for families with children. Highly recommended.

I really loved the terrace with the chess set — such a cozy and stylish place to relax. It was a real pleasure spending time there, enjoying the game and the atmosphere. Thank you for creating such a lovely space!

The room with the balcony was lovely. Comfortable bed and bedding, nice bathroom. Mostly quiet, although we could hear a baby crying from time to time. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The fast EV chargers were helpful as we drove from Amsterdam.

Frankly, for the price, the hotel has issues. The restaurants/food is sub-par and expensive. The breakfast buffet "hot" dishes were room temperature or cold. The chicken club sandwich was full of gristle. We ate dinner there only one night, and the remaining nights we ordered from Uber Eats, which was cheaper and of much better quality. Disappointing. The elevator went out of service at one point (we were on the third floor), and the sauna was broken.

    Staff always kind and professional

telephone in the room didn't work and I couldn't use it for room service. I had to order at the bar.

Beautiful chateaux a short drive from Chantilly, food good and reasonably priced.

Stayed two nights and on day two they didn’t leave any more coffee capsules or a fresh bottle of water - not a big deal but it let down the hotel as everything else including the staff were great/ faultless

Sauna. Breakfast. View from bedroom terrace. Pet friendly. Grounds. Staff.

Restaurant food was mediocre. Too much chlorine in the pool.

Beautiful hotel, great for a getaway weekend! Valet was very friendly and offered top service!

Wish there was another option for restaurant. Some of the staff were inexperienced for a five star hotel. Room was not serviced until 7pm, which was a little strange

Beautiful building, recently renovated - an architectural gem tastefully renovated, but more work needed.Friendly and professional staff doing their best for the hotel.

Remote location means driving there is essential. No exterior hotel lighting and unclear parking arrangements make for a dark/poor late evening welcome. Shower in bathtub and leaking glass side panel. Classic 1980s problem that could be easily fixed. Bathtub empties too slowly causing a paddle pool effect.Food was good and bad. Evening dinner was surprisingly well crafted but very poorly described on the menu. Few details on what to expect and no allergen list. Likewise with breakfast "Red Detox Juice" Tasty but I've no idea what I was drinking. There's a shortage of facilities in the off season - a residents bar/lounge would be good. The Michelin star L'Opera restaurant is closed. No hotel boutique, etc, etc. There were very few guests for breakfast on Monday morning. Some hot food appeared stale, cool/rewarded. Covered casserole dishes at Sunday breakfast were replaced with open dishes on Monday morning in which the food doesn't stay warm. The hotel has enormous potential if more focus was placed on the small details. My recommendation is : constantly innovate, improve and upgrade on customer comforts in order to compete effectively with better located hotels.

Excellent Hotel, elegant decoration, wonderful dinner, in the forest , it is ultra quiet, very very friendly helpful staff, ( unusual in France )

    I liked it all

Friendly staff- clean - great location-

The spa very basic and had no service - jacuzzi cold - overall not the feeling of a Spa

    10BohdanPosted on: 9-14-2024

Adorable stuff: starting from meeting to restaurant. The housekeeping ever: they even put you cosmetics with same distance in small towel. Breakfasts the same all day but always enough and good quality of food. The location is love - if you want to feel real France.

    Poor menu for longer stay

    7FriedleyPosted on: 9-3-2024

The location and restaurant are excellent, but the water pipes were very loud all night.

There were water pipes or some sort of noises that kept me up at night, they were very loud.

    Location, calmness

Small details : like breakfast card was not available, card itself impossible to hang on the door handle, etc.

    9KarenPosted on: 10-30-2023

The chateau is stunning. Rooms are luxuriously furnished. The restaurant and bar area is elegant and comfortable at the same time. Food and drinks are delicious.

    Nothing!

Hotel is beautiful and what a location. Room is clean and good size. Good quality furnishings have been used and it is well kept.

Breakfast is below the standard for a hotel of this quality. Couldn't believe the number of guests with tattoos that allowed to wear their hats in the restaurants. The bell hop offered to help with the luggage after we got it into the hotel ourselves!

Its beautiful chateau and area near it. Nicely approachable.

Old and dirty. Too expencive for what it is. Restaurant wasn't good enough, for high prices - warm champagne(((
