It was a lovely spacious bedroom and bathroom

Definitely should not be verrayes. The google map took me way up a mountain to a Verrayes village nowhere near the hotel.

I liked the kindness of the staff and of the owner, the breakfast was excellent and the restaurant was practical and well equipped, also with gluten free pizza.

Clean quiet and strategically located on the Francigena

the staff was nice , the bedroom we had was big although the facilities were dated. Below the hotel there is a restaurant which in our case was very practical.

there was no air conditioning nor fans available and we could not leave the windows open as the restaurant below was very noisy. so did not sleep very well.

A very basic hotel but very comfortable and convenient. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed our pizza in the dining room on the ground floor. The hotel was right off the Via Francigena which we appreciated.

You could only check-in until 17:30 which was unexpected.

Surprisingly silent, the location at the main road notwithstanding. Excellent pizza in the same building. The castle of Fenis is very near.

Very friendly hotel, convenient for the motorway. As a one star hotel my expectations weren't high, but were very much exceeded. It has a slightly old fashioned traditional style that adds a bit of charm. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with french windows onto a decent balcony overlooking the valley and mountains. Admittedly the room showed a bit of wear and tear that detracted from it a bit, but everything was clean and serviceable. A mini-fridge was a little unexpected, but meant I had nice cold water for the start of the following day's journey, and the bed was huge and really comfortable. As someone travelling through, a major plus was that they have an excellent pizzeria as well, meaning dinner in the garden was sorted without having to look elsewhere! This was lively, with a nice atmosphere with non-residents too, which is always a good sign. Breakfast was also good, typical Italian sweet breakfast. Overall a really pleasant overnight stop, and I'm sure to be stopping there again.

This was one of the worst experiences that I could ever immagine. I was desperately looking for an hotel in order to cut my long travel as I was very tired and find this hotel that stated to have 24h reception. I booked a room regularly and tried to call the Reception. Nobody answered and there was no indication of anything. I booked another hotel as I needed to sleep somewhere. The next day I tried to call them and ask to refund me. I was even not asking for any explanation why they charge a night and they don’t answer as I acknowledge that it was very late. I just wanted to be refunded and have my money back as I payed for nothing. They never refund me and apparently used the cancellation policy of booking as an excuse not to refund me. I called them several times. How can they treat people like this???

Convenient location

Tiny 2ft bed, room nothing like photos on website, very tired decor and smelly.Door didn't lock, had very little sleep with a chair wedged against it. Front of house staff surly. No kettle or iron as stated in description and any view obscured by unopenable wooden shutters. Felt more like a prison cell than a hotel room.

I would give 9 out of 10 for food. Friendly staff. 35 min drive to Cervinia.

It was quite noisy and could have been warmer. As hotel is quite old.

I didn't like it at all. Is the most disgusting dirty smelling creepy place I have ever been to. It's a complete scum. Ugly dirty even a rat would be disappointed. Ruined my holidays.

Very budget hotel without private bathroom

Location was great. Pizzaria was fantastic. Best pizza I have had.
