Check in time, 15.00 is too late and the check out time is too early at 10.00. You need to pay separately for the SPA and the heated pool that anyways you can use only for 3 hours, since the already mentioned check in and out hours. In my opinion it’s poorly signed on the Booking offer that these are not included in the price of the stay. Anyways, the pool and the SPA were really in bad shape, there was green moss in the outdoor heated pool and many tiles were missing and the SPA (saunas, steam rooms) were not even activated. In the price is included one non heated pool far away from certain rooms - that one was in good shape. The restaurant of the hotel was not satisfying at all. The hotel offers an offer of 29€ per person (first, second dish and dessert), but the size of the portions were rather small, it was more of a tasting rather than a real restaurant meal. The beverages were excluded. In general once we arrived the whole place was giant and empty despite it was July. Everything stays open even at night without any supervision. Apart from the receptionist that is in a separate building and a SPA supervisor that came back only at the closing of the area, there was no staff at all, so should you need anything, you are left all alone there. The next morning the breakfast was ok, even though there was no fresh bread, only the one processed for toasts, I don’t know if there was some at the beginning , but anyways they serve breakfast from 8 AM and we were there at 8.30, so I don’t think there is a logical explanation for it to end that quickly.Definitely not the four star experience that I was expecting and definitely not worth the price I payed for the stay.

I cannot tell how much my mom and I loved this property.First the staff are super friendly and ready to help, second the food are marvelous the do have so much variety.Third the room, warm pool are just beyond my expectations, and that view! Monteverdi Marittimo has my heart and Relais I Piastroni too, I definitely recommend this place, if you amwant to refuel you energy and just be able to breath new air, look at the beautiful mountain view plus eat great food you should pick this property.By the way the entire village are extremely warm and they are there for you (just be prepared to talk italian ?).

Holiday resort in a small Tuscan town. The apartment has spacious rooms, two bathrooms, comfortable beds. Outside area is nice, the pool is ok - nothing special. It feels like the two-bedroom apartments are part of the "old" Piastroni and the spa area is the new Piastroni.

The apartments do not have air-conditioning or any other ventilation, so you have to open doors and windows. This is a bit of a problem, because there are no mosquito-nets on the windows, but there are really a lot of insects there. There are cats and dogs wondering around the resort, so you have to be careful not to step into their poop. On the last day you will be presented with a 55 € cleaning fee and local taxes, which are apparently not included in the price. You have to pay for it before you can check-out. It would be nice if someone mentioned this at the check-in. Also, we arrived late in the afternoon and we still had to wait for around 45 minutes because our apartments were not ready yet. There are things missing in the kitchen (cutlery, glasses, etc.). The water in the pool is full of chemicals, you have to avoid getting it in your mouth, nose or eyes. You have to pay extra if you want to use the other pools.

The apartment was spacious. I liked the furniture and the character of the high ceilings and beams.

We felt mislead by the hotel, like photo above, all pics advertising it are of the new spa part of the hotel. Which we were told we could not access, as it is not for families. This created a bit of a dampener at the beginning, when we found this out. Yes it’s In the small print but it needs to be more obvious what you are paying for. Very misleading!Also our room was not ready when we arrived, even though we could be in from 4 is wasn’t ready until 7pm. Which was disappointing after a long journey. And a car full of frozen food. Thought they could have made more effort to by giving drinks at the bar or something but we were just left to wander around.The family pool we were allowed to use was nice but a little run down, a lot of weeds around the grounds and things not working. You didn’t see staff at all at the ‘family pool’. Felt like all maintenance and attention was on the adult spa pool only.In the apartment;Could have done with an additional proper bed in one of the bedrooms for our youngest, as sofa bed meant you could never sit down in comfort. There is definitely room for this option. The sofa bed was not the best, kept folding in and was very old. There Wasn’t enough cups and dinning chairs for people and not enough of anything In the kitchen to make use of the dishwasher.It was very hot at night but because there were no options to open windows downstairs for security, it made it unbearable at times. You could only have windows fully open or fully closed. No shutters, so you could let air get in.There’s no Wi-Fi apart from by the by the pool. No air conditioning. Recommend high insect protection we had a lot of bites. And you need swimming caps.

Peaceful location, man of reception friendly and helpful. The view from breakfast is stunning.Easy to find

Very basic breakfast, nothing cooked apart from a hard boiled egg.No tea/coffee in the rooms.

The breakfast was fantastic along with the dinner service. The staff even used a phone translator to help us order our food. Felt very welcoming!

This is a secret gem, the best resort if you need silence, nature and resting for a few days. Great welcoming staff, superclean rooms, lovely breakfast, I truly couldn't ask for more. Thank you

Horseflies around the swimming pool.Unfortunately, this meant that you could not really lie by the pool without risk.

The breakfast was quite nice, the surroundings quite and nice view from the restaurant

Value for money was very bad - we paid for 4-star hotel but we were placed in a different setting of buildings, the room did not have the fridge nor the kettle to make any tea or coffee. The pool that we were so intimidated by while choosing was extra paid with no information on the website and the quality of rooms and the fact that all facilities extra paid were not worth so much money.

The resort itself was absolutely gorgeous! And a great getaway from a hectic life. Peaceful and tranquil. The breakfast was good. The staff were lovely and accommodating.

For me personally, it was too far away , but that was my error choosing the accommodation. I didn't calculate the distance .they have a lovely pool which is for free, and others you have to pay for, which is €25 a day pool and spa.

Beautiful setting in the mountains. Clean rooms, spacious. Lovely breakfast outside. Loads to choose and eat. Pools and spa.

Mini fridge not cooling. Was told we should have removed the fridge from the cabinet it was in as there was no ventilation for it. Was told the air conditioner was not allowed to be cooler than 24 degrees Celsius by law.

the suite was great and confortable. very large. very nice heated pool and spa. the massage was excellent and professional (Patrizio). excellent relax and staff was very competent

On arrival we discovered the room to be full of insects. Once the receptionist emptied the insects out we found the wifi

The room was full of bugs. The wifi didn’t work. There was no regular cell service. The receptionist wasn’t honest.

Very nice room, great breakfast buffet, friendly staff, magical surroundings. It is also very close to the centre of the village, 5-10minutes walk.

There was no water on one of the mornings, but they solved the problem and it was back in the afternoon. Also, the neighbors were kind of having a party one of the nights.

Big rooms, quiet and good location, Pleasant staff.

The breakfast was very disappointing, the water in the jacuzzi was cold, the lunch didn’t have many options.

perfect stay! super clean rooms, especially great for couples, beautiful outdoor place as well. great breakfast, and (room)service. we used the outdoor spa (additional charge) which was right in front of our room. truly a great place to rest and enjoy a sublime peaceful environment.

We loved the room, with the mini pool next to it. It was clean and spacious, the design: superb as well. Beautiful place. The bathroom was small, but ...big enoughNice, covered space for cars (did not get hot although it was 38C all the time, and very sunny).

There are not too many restaurants around. Although the restaurant by the hotel is nice, the menu is a bit limited so if you travel with kids: that's a bit of a challenge.Breakfast ambiance is great, nice big tables outside, lovely staff, but the variety of food - again bit limited

Very big rooms but a little bit sound., little decorated. Good and big pool. Breakfast was ok, also wifi. Staff was helpful. We changed the room to pool side.

Local village is too small, no normal restaurants and foodshops. Everything normal was 20 km away. Garden view was not garden, rather a bush, forest and dark.
