Amazing hotel. The property has safe private parking , restaurant, exceptional spa & professional massage. The location is very close to Zilina. The reception staff as well as any other staff members we have talked, were extremely helpful and speak english very well. There are art pieces from medieval times at the hotel, makes the stay even more enjoyable.

1-Check-out at 10AM on Sunday : non standard and too early. Specially on Sunday .... They even deactivate room card at that moment.2-Arrival experience : entrance is made from the back of the compond that looks like everything but a castle hotel. (picture attached)

We liked the building and surroundings itself - it is a very nicely renovated Chateau in a park. It was also great having a balcony. The staff was nice too. The hotel is also well equipped (wellness, fitness, bowling etc.). Breakfast was ok.

First of all, when arriving by car, you have to walk quite a lot to get to the reception. Then there is the fact, that for whatever reason, we got a room (101) for disabled people. Even though, there was nothing really wrong with the room and that the bathroom seemed to be bigger, it was not really comfortable to use a toilet placed that high.What was also strange: we were asked repeatedly about making a reservation for a dinner in the hotel restaurant - which we eventually did - but to our surprise only one other table was occupied during our dinner. This was really really strange, especially as the other table arrived after us and without a reservation. No idea what this was about (btw. the dinner was ok, but nothing special, we wouldn't return for the food, not a good value ).Both the wellness and the fitness seem to be available to public as well.

Good dinner and breakfast. Comfortable bed. Good pool but the sauna costs extra...

We were in an unairconditioned room. If you want a/c you need to have a more expensive room.....in other words if you use a booking service you probably won't have a/c. We were in an attic room with a small window. Luckily it wasn't a very hot day and there was enough breeze for the room to be comfortable. Just a warning, if you will be there in the summer you need to be aware of this.

Cozy chateau with history and beautiful aesthetics. Friendly staff, free parking available. The rooms are spacious, equipped with everything you need, including high-quality shower gel and shampoo. Good breakfast (included). Excellent spa area (you need to book in advance, 2 hours - 7 euros per person).

There is no air conditioning, it was very hot in the room. The spa area has become paid for hotel guests (before it was free). In the spa, the saunas are very dark, neither the temperature nor the time on the hourglass can be seen. It was very hot in the restaurant in the area where breakfast and dinner were not air-conditioned, while in the room where the staff was, the air conditioners were working.

The bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable. The grounds of the property are very well kept and very clean. The hotel itself is beautiful.

1. No air conditioning in the hotel room which made for a very warm and sweaty stay. 2. Our check in experience was strange. We were just handed the keys and weren’t explained where everything on property is (restaurant, spa, breakfast, etc). Front desk person wasn’t very friendly. 3. The property’s outdoor area is vast yet no area for children to play. 4. In our double room, no stand-alone shower. Just a bathtub with a handheld sprayer which got the bathroom soaked when trying to shower ourselves.

Breakfast was not that good

Comfy beds.Great restaurant, although the reception told us it was open until 10pm, but it was closing at 21. They still accepted us and gave us amazing food, but it was awkward and we didn't feel welcome at all at first.

The bathroom in the deluxe double room is ridiculous, borderline unusable, it might look nice, but try using it to take a shower.

Check in was super fast. The hotel has great character and charm. Room was large and bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast had great selection and was fresh and well maintained. The pool was the best, I don't like basement spas. this wellness area had an outdoor hot tub and modern clean light pool. The whole wellness area was a treat and unlike some other hotels it was included in the price of the room. I paid for a massage and even at the last minute they were able to schedule me.

Even though there was an elevator you had to go up and down some stairs. It is possible to detour around but it is not very convenient.

Because of one person at the front (miss T.), the expérience ended by a very ugly feeling.Ok we were late at the chekout and because of misundertandings for an upgrade, the person was very unpleasant. She should learn how to speak and be respectful to a customer !
