Great location, friendly staff

Food could be better

Spacious room, beautiful view since hotel is next to the sea, awesome walk trail to Opatija and delicious food!

Very nice hotel, great service and facilities, quiet location and amazing sea view from our balcony, we loved the food as well. Everything was perfect!

Though the weather was great (sunny, 21 Celsius mid-Oct), we could not use the outside pools as they are not heated, the water was very cold.

All rooms are with balcony and a splendid sea view, big clean room, marvellous lobby bar, location perfect, walking distance to Opatija center (25-30 min walk)

17 euros per day for car parking is a bit too much. Room: A small shower shelf would be nice for personal shampoo etc. Beach: Curtain is not a good solution for the changing cabins at the beach, even the mildest blow fly them. Furthermore, you need hangers when you get in with your towel and dry swimming suit to change.

Room was spacious and comfy. We had a garden view on the first floor but no direct access to the garden from the room. We can see the beach. We have a little terrace to sit outside. From the back of the hotel where the swimming pool is, there is an access to walk on the long promenade along the coast that goes for many many miles. It is very nice. Though there is no sandy beach, there are many steps that take you to the water. Nearby there is a beach that allows dogs. Beer and wine are included with dinner if you book half-board. I don't drink so I didn't take advantage of those.

I've been to Croatia many times and found the hotels are quite affordable, this time I find it a bit pricey. Maybe because of last-minute booking, or perhaps this area (Opatija and Icici) are indeed more expensive than Rovinj, Pula, Porec, Mali Losinj, etc. where I had gone. Parking EUR 17/day seems too much. I think the hotel should provide free parking. Dog is EUR 27 per dog per day. That adds up since I had 2 small ones. Breakfast and dinner are buffet but it's nothing extraordinary as compared to many other hotels in Croatia I had been to. Not much option for vegetarians. I booked half-board that included wine/beer but I dont drink. I wished I just had a coffee/tea maker in the room.

Clean room, nice stuff, excellent see view, quite surrounding. Good for kids.

Price of the parking fee

We really liked our room — the view was fantastic. The area around the hotel was also great for walks. The staff were friendly, and the hotel was clean throughout. We had half board, and both breakfast and dinner were plentiful and fresh.

However, during our stay, four tourist buses arrived in front of the hotel, and the guests from the buses began eating, drinking, and playing music there. Their vehicles blocked the entrance to the parking lot, but we assumed they were only stopping briefly to rest. Unfortunately, by dinnertime, it became clear that they were staying. The restaurant, which had previously offered a calm and pleasant atmosphere, turned into a very busy and noisy space. This significantly impacted the dining experience, which we had otherwise really enjoyed up to that point.

Very nice location with fantastic view from the room to the see. Big room, large balcony, cosy bed, clean rooms and restaurant. Easy access to the beach promenade.Very good kitchen. Stuff took in account our request for elderly people (easy access to the room etc.).

Perfect location in the seaside under the mountains near to the main street! Amazing view of the sea from all point of the hotel ( rooms, longue, restaurant)! Spacious parking house! Polite and helpful staff! Abundant and delicious breakfast and dinner traditional easter meals! Many many facilities for children and adults! I suggest for everyone!

I missed the indoor wellness!

Very friendly stuff,food excellent,nice and spacious room with great view.

There is no kettle in the room for coffee,no slippers,outside kids playground is in the bad condition,kids animation should be better organized.

front desk staff is incompetent. There are so many hotels in Opatia in the same price ranges, but we chose hotel Icici because Booking.com had 20% off, it was a mistake. It was a 30min walk to Opatia which we don't mind walking.At checkout we asked the front desk receptionist to call taxi to Opatia right away, while waiting to checkout, she let us wait until after she processed the payment, resulting missing the bus to Italy, costing $150US for a taxi ride. She was ignorant, did not know how to prioritize.Next time will stay in Opatia.

It might not matter as much during the summer months, but the TV in the room only has a few news channels and most of them don’t even have a signal. It’s not a smart TV, so you can’t connect your phone or, say, your Netflix account. Hard to believe, but true. When we asked at the reception if we needed to pay extra for additional channels, the receptionist rather rudely replied, “No, the TV has what it has.”It’s a shame that such a nice hotel has multimedia straight out of the 1960s.

View - spectacular! Room - clean and large, as well as bathroom. Terrace super.Breakfast very nice, good coffee. Very polite staff.

Expensive parking

Hospitality, location, size of the room, the view, parking, breakfast are all perfect.

Paper thin walls and door. Could hear everything from neighbors…

No slippers provided in the room, no tea/coffee station, for 4 star hotel it should be there

All rooms in the hotel have a sea view. The staff was very kind. The breakfast was rich and tasty. A great place to recharge your batteries

The staff is terrible, very under qualified and not willing to help out for anything. The hotel lacks soul, it looks like an hospital.
