Villa Kastel

Everything was amazing. The staff were always friendly and made sure our needs were met. The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant breakfast buffet offered new things daily and was very good. There was something for the whole family. Dinner at the restaurant in the evening was delicious and romantic with the beautiful sunset. We loved the pool and the beach. Enjoyed lunch and amazing cocktails at the beach bar. The bartenders Maurice and Danny are amazing and know what they are doing. Our kids loved them as well. We wish we could have stayed longer.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

Great breakfast that changed a bit daily , room spacious and an adequate sized bath, it does show its ages here and there but still comfortable , it has a pool but we only used it once :) the beach is great and further down you can spend your time in the shade under the trees , very nice, good restaurant on site and there are a few other decent options in the area, parking could be a bit tricky (seems to be enough spaces but some require maneuvering) but i had luck and got one of the few places under roof. big balcony that got a bit hot during the evening, but excellent view of the sunset in return

Wifi was very slow, but so was also 4G (although better) so probably not a fault of the hotel but more probably inadequate Internet infrastructure in the area i suspect.

We loved the location, the hotel bar by the beach, the hotel restaurant and the staff. We tried other restaurants outside the hotel but ours was the best regarding the quality and also the price, Seafood platter for two is the best choice. Very calm beach, it’s ideal to relax, don’t forget to bring your favorite book with you!Pool was also wonderful, the quality of the water very nice plus the view is excellent.Thanks for everything!

WiFi is poor but as I was told it is telecom company firm problem

Location, clean, plenty of parking.

The wifi was abysmal. How this was rated 8/10 is baffling when everybody complains about it. If anybody is hoping to stream a movie or watch sports, forget it.The hotel has satellite TV, but only in reception.The pool isn’t deep enough to swim lengths. We stayed 6 nights and never saw anybody use it. The breakfast juice is cordial not fresh juice. It should be fresh juice in what is supposed to be a 4 star rated hotel.There is not a lift. We are 68 and 66 and were on the top floor.The mini bar prices are extortionate ie 10 euros 50 for a 20cl Freixenet, the same price as for a 75cl bottle in the local supermarket. This is indicative of the wine prices in the restaurant at the hotel. The hotel would sell more and make more profit if the mini bar prices were sensible.We noticed the cereal was left uncovered all day in the restaurant which put us off eating it. We have photographic evidence of everything.

It was a beautiful vacation. The room corresponds to the one we booked. Check in and parking were without problems and free of charge. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the sea, the beds were comfortable. There was silence in the room. The pool with sunbeds was clean. I appreciate the variety of the breakfast. The restaurant was pleasant and we enjoyed going here for dinners. I would like to praise the very friendly head waiter Zoran. Such a professional is rarely seen anywhere. The other staff were always pleasant as well. The beach is right in front of the hotel with a gentle entry into the water. The price in this hotel more or less corresponds to the premium location.

A few comments for possible improvement:I would appreciate vacuuming in the room sometimes. I missed draft beer in the bar, good coffee (like espresso) and better juice for breakfast. There could be a drying rack for things on the terrace.

Beautiful view from the balcony and from the terrace of the restaurant! I loved every breakfast and meal there and The Staff was so great!
