Offering rooms with balconies, the Beatriz Playa is set on Puerto de Carmen’s Matagorda Beach, 1.9 mi from Lanzarote Aiport. It features an outdoor pool and spa. Each air-conditioned room at the Playa has simple décor and satellite TV. All come with a private bathroom, small fridge and safety deposit box. Mediterranean cuisine is on offer at the buffet restaurant, which features an attractive terrace. The Davao bar serves snacks by the pool and there is also a piano bar, and a lounge bar. The spa features an indoor hydromassage pool, a sauna and hot tub. Treatments on offer include massage and facials, and there is also a gym. The center of Puerto de Carmen is less than 10 minutes’ drive from the Beatriz Playa and the nearest golf club is just 3.7 mi away.

- The spa, the view from our balcony, daily cleaning service and fresh towels. Brilliant water pressure and temperature in the shower. Good location and liked the complimentary showers to use.
- Spent 10 glorious days here and would definitely return. The location was superb, right on the beach and short walk to shops and restaurants. Loads of entertainment and no shortage of loungers around the pools. The room was spotless and cleaned every day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of food choices at the breakfast/dinner buffet in their beautiful restaurant.
Cons -
- A few of the restaurant staff were extremely rude to multiple guests and ruined our clothes by dropping food on us (we did make a formal complaint to reception however we never heard anything back before we left) Furniture in the rooms was very tired and uncomfortable, especially the sofa. Pillows on bed were very flat, only one provided per person, needs to be two each.
