Sutherland Motel

My wife was recovering from a major back operation. When management were told of this they changed our room to one which had better seating facilities .

Location was close to where I needed to be over the weekend

It's disappointing when a motel advertises they offer free internet access and it's unusable

I highly recommend this establishment.My recent visit was my second time at this motel. Great beds, lovely staff.

Bed was comfortable

Wifi was almost non existent and the TV kept bufferingLots of cobwebs and dust around - need a detail clean

Easy parking, clean rooms, pool ? , 15 minutes walk to train to get to town and eats. A goody

Convenient Location for us due to where my daughter and her family live. Comfortable Bed. We were travelling with a trailer and the manager provided us with a suitable parking spot that was convenient and out of other guests way.

It’s extremely close to an exceptionally busy road, but double glazing on the windows makes sleep possible. Rooms are small but good design fits a lot in including a small kitchenette.

The bedroom & bathroom were clean. There was plenty of soaps & other bathroom toiletries

The bed was hard . The pillows were wafer thin - they need replacing. My room was the closest to Acacia Road so very noisy with traffic all night .The accommodation looked very basic . I stayed years ago & had the ground floor room at the very opposite end . It was nicely furnished with a comfortable armchair.

The host was so hospitable! There were signs of generosity everywhere. For example, there wasn't just one milk carton in the fridge, there were three, not just one shampoo in the shower, a whole bowl of them, not just one bed in the room, but two. And nothing was too hard for Sunny, I never heard him say "no"!

I liked the style and layout, it does have a nice feel about it when you walk in. Amenities are looked after. Good natural light.

Room size is small.

The bed was comfortable enough, bathroom was a bit dated with not much water pressure in the shower. The room was ok, however it was still a bit noisey from the highway but you have to expect that with its location. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It was what I expected it to be.Location near family is all that matters

Traffic noise is extensive and there is no glazing or noise protection due to the age of the accommodation. There was no hair dryer.

The bathroom was clean, and towels/sheets were clean. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk in the fridge as most places only put enough for 2 cups of tea and coffee.

Property was in need of an upgrade, and being on the main road was very noisy even with the double glazed windows.

Older motel but very clean and comfortable. Staff were really nice and location was excellent.

Was perfect for what we needed. Clean and super friendly staff. Check in was incredibly easy and convenient.

That our stay wasn't longer. Also I didn't get a chance to try the clean pool.

My room was not serviced and I had a late check out and my phone rang twice wondering what was going on. Aa I was there for a funeral and came from Darwin and wasn't flying out to late that is why the late check out

No fly screen in front door. Bathroom fly screen was very dirty

Was okay. Reasonably comfortable.

Very noisy. Didn't realize how close to the highway and how busy it would be.
