Located in front of a long white sandy beach, Plantation Island offers palm-fringed accommodations in Malolo Lailai’s blue lagoon. The resort features an outdoor pool and massage facilities. The characteristic ‘Bure’ bungalows of the Plantation Island Resort combine a traditional Polynesian décor with modern furnishings. Amenities include private bathrooms, air conditioning and a deck. Guests of the property can enjoy local food and seafood specialties and international dishes at the in-house restaurant. There are a variety of water sport facilities, from windsurfing to diving and snorkeling. A golf course is located nearby. The staff of the Plantation Island Resort’s Tour Desk can assist in further discovering Fiji’s immaculate coral reefs and the islands of Nadi and Denarau. Plantation Island Resort is popular with families, however we also welcome groups, couples and single travelers The property includes complimentary cultural demonstrations, including Fijian cooking lessons, coconut leave basket weaving, native medicine tours, and free use of waterpark for children 5 - 16 years inclusive.

Please inform Plantation Island Resort of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Plantation Island Resort is accessible daily by scheduled ferry transfer, speedboat, helicopter transfers or seaplane transfer. Guests need to reconfirm arrival details with the resort 72 hours prior to arrival. To make bookings for transfers, please contact the property using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Up to 2 children, 12 years of age and under, eat free from the buffet for breakfast and dinner as well as from the kids' menu for lunch when dining with their parents or guardian at Ol Copra Shed Restaurant. Parents may dine separately at other Restaurants if they have purchased the half board meal plan. TRAVEL INSURANCE: It is recommended that clients take out Comprehensive Travel Insurance. - Location on quiet island. Water activities available: surfing, diving, sailing, snorkeling. Large rooms with air conditioning.
- Beach and room after we were moved to a location that was not steps away from evening drum performances, wedding receptions and loud bar music.
- Friendly staff and location
Cons -
- Wi-fi was not free. Snack bar or other alternative to main meal offerings was less than desired. Didn't feel like there was enough local Fijian foods available.
- First night in room 226 was a disaster. Went to sleep and were woken up by loud drum performance that was steps away from our bedroom. We were moved the next afternoon to a quieter location. Initial denial of one night refund ruined our experience
