Located on the peaceful hill overlooking the Andaman Sea, Hula Hula Resort, Ao Nang Beach features four outdoor swimming pools including one main pool, one kids' pool and two private pools, an on-site Thai art and crafts center and free WiFi. Both Ao Nang and Nopparat Beach can be reached within 3 minutes, using the resort's free shuttle bus or 12 minutes on foot. All guests are welcomed by exotic seasonal fruits and tropical drinks. Guests can also enjoy views of the pineapple field at the back of the resort. Decorated with pineapple-themed pillows and tropical colors, the rooms features genuine wood furnishings. It has a flat-screen TV, a mini-bar and an electric kettle. The private bathrooms include slippers and free toiletries that offer the fragrance of frangipani. Rooms come with a balcony or a patio with direct pool access. Special features include unique art pieces created by local Krabi painters. - The room and property itself was clean and comfortable. However the staff are very rude (specially the reception staff pictured here)
- I like nature, trees, and flowers in the resort very much. The swimming pool in the afternoon is not sunny, the weather is nice and not hot. The atmosphere for sipping cocktails is great.
Cons -
- Shuttle facilities were very very poor. Other hotels offer much more frequent, flexible transport services. We had to walk everywhere and given that the hotel is not located at Ao Nang beach or town itself, and with the very hot weather during the day and rainy weather at night, walking everywhere is not practical. The hotel staff were so rude when we would ask about the times for the shuttle or check in or anything. You dont feel like talking to them at all. So rude.
