Green Valley

Excellent host - drove us to and picked us up from the hiking trails. Room was spacious, with separate bathroom and AC and there is a small convenience store where you can get all the basic necessities and you can also order lunch/ dinner. In addition, the location beside the river is absolutely superb- you can cool off just behind the hotel and at ca 400m upstream from the hotel there is a bit larger "river lake" to swim and enjoy beautiful Jirisan summer.

The owner was extremely helpful in hosting me during my stay. Due to recent weather events, the basement of the hotel was flooded and the owner was very busy cleaning the rubble and mud. Despite his worries, he made me an excellent Korean breakfast.

I liked the hotel very much. I didn't find anything I disliked. It met the expectation.

Nice tiles and there’s a convenience store there. The owner is kind and will drive you into town up the highway a mile up.

My friends and I stayed here for one night before hiking up Jirisan and it was great! The host helped us get to the start of the hiking trail at 5:30 in the morning, he drove us there, which was already so kind. But then he also offered to pick us back up after the hike and drop us off at the bus station to go back to Busan. Without him, the hike would not have went so smoothly!! He really likes to help foreigners (like us), so if you think you need help and information when hiking Jirisan, do not hesitate to ask him! Thanks to him we were able to complete our hike with peace of mind.

The place is very close to Jirisan so it is an amazing option for people who want to hike! Rooms are big and clean. The owner was very kind and helpful and even offered to take us to the bus terminal and helped us with everything we needed.

I had a really great stay at Green Valley! The rooms are big, comfortable and clean. There is also a beautiful river nearby where you can relax, cool down and read. If you ask a day in advance then you can get a nice Korean breakfast (vegan friendly!) as well as a lunchbox (see picture) if you want to go hiking. That being said: the host is really kind, helpful and speaks good English. He responded to all of my questions and was helping me a lot with organising my bus transfer to the accommodation as well as back to Seoul. Also he kindly dropped me of at the bus station so I did not need to walk the way with my heavy backpack. Also he has a small convenience store in the building so if you want some drinks or snacks you can get everything you want.

Owner was helpful and provided lifts to the mountain, advice and packed lunch. room was big.

Owner does not keep track of how you have paid. Booking com took payment before we arrived but the owner asked for payment. When pointed out owner said that was a hold and I needed to pay him. So I did. Both payments went through and so I have paid twice. Over a month later I have been unable to get one of the double payments back. Owner claimed he had tried to return the payment but my credit card is now fraud blocked. No other attempt has been made to fix by owner and it has been over a month.

The owner was extremely nice and recommended us places to visit and even gave tips on hiking Jirisan. The room was large and clean and had a homey feel to it.

The only downside was that there was no hairdryer but other than that, I was extremely happy

Our hsot was incredible! We spoke both Korean and English and helped us plan our hike up Jirisan, find yummy dinner, and made us breakfast and lunch. We was so incredible and nice!

Location is good as it is close to the starting of trail. Host is good in English so helps a lot in communication. He offers to pick us from bus terminal and sent us to start of trail is very helpful. We had problem with outdoor cooking as we couldn't find cooking fuel, he tries his best to help us. His is very fast in replying to queries even before our stay.

There is room for improvement in the dining area. Can make it more conducive. Will be good if the host can provide some drinking cups with simple coffee/tea.

Owner Roger is very helpful. He picked us up from bus terminal at 9pm & on next morning sent us to bus stop where bus goes to Jirisan trail head, otherwise we have to walk uphill for an hour
