Pros +
- Clean room , nice outlook and air conditioning
- Because of some of the other reviews, my expectations were extremely low. But it wasn't that bad, really. The location is outside of the village, but the hotel offers free shuttles and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night and left very early the next morning. Breakfast was okay, but nothing to write home about. We had two rooms with a connecting door, which was great for our family.Cleanliness was okay, we've definitely seen worse. Not a lot of furniture in the room, but had everything we needed. Not sure how I would feel about staying here for a week, but for one night it was perfectly fine.
- The rooms were spacious, clean and felt quite new. Bed was rather big and had a nice mattress. The AC worked perfectly. Shower was separated from the toilet (which was super rare on our vacation in Malaysia).
Cons -
- The hotel said it had a bar and restaurant which was not the case . The swimming pool was like a small ornamental pond . The breakfast was very poor and cold . Food was left out for hours with ants crawling over it .
- One or two comfy chairs in the rooms would be nice.
- The staff (at least a guy, that greeted us) was not friendly or helpful (they were fully booked when we wanted to join the night safari, which is totally fine, but that guy at reception didn't recommend any alternatives or tell us any other place where we could book it; no smile whatsoever and it felt like he doesn't even want to talk to us). Breakfast had quite a big selection of foods, but they were not very tasty, orange juice did not taste like juice.
