- Beautiful surroundings. The hosts were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Very clean and comfortable room. Delicious breakfast (we had congee, eggs, tofu or wheat gluten, two vegetable dishes, and steam buns or bread each morning) and the host even provided fruit from her garden. I was worried about finding it so the hosts provided a google maps link which made it easy.
- Owner was very helpful. Booked dinner for us at a nearby restaurant within walking distance. Allowed us to do our laundry on site. Offered to pack man tou for us to eat on our hike. Short distance to tea plantation with lovely views. Breakfast was Chinese style with lots of dishes and homegrown organic vegetables.
- It is so peaceful here. The area is stunning with lovely walks looking at the tea plantation fields. Owners are lovely although we communicated solely via Google Translate! Beds were comfortable and a great shower.
Cons -
- Couldn't locate accommodation on Google map and had to seek help at the police station. Owner met us at the police station to show us the way.
- We forgot that only cash is accepted. So it was an hour and a half round trip to the ATM at 7-11. We should have got more organised.
