    • Very nice and clean please, the stuff is really helpful, the restaurant is amazing.
    • very cozy and warm place
    • Good garage parking for motorbikes. Rooms very clean and comfortable with lovely bathrooms.Quirky bar and restaurant by seemed a bit strange with the modern bedrooms.Great Chinese just across the road, they do a fantastic buffet for €20Very convenient to A57 which was good for our overnight stop on way back to boat.

    Cons -

    • We were surprised that the wellness and spa is for nudists, but we had been told that it’s not a problem if we are with bathing suits.
    • Since I didn’t mention on booking that I was bringing my dog, they said they had to move to a different room and because of that change me 15 euros extra per night. Well I suppose now, I’ve learned the lesson. also, the need to send an email to book the spa.
    • Staff very unpleasant, we were left standing at the reception for quite some time while receptionist worked on computer and totally ignored us.Was also difficult to get attention from staff in bar and at breakfast.Breakfast could have been better, breads not great and ran out of croissant’s at 9am - despite a bakery just across the road.

Comfortable room with balcony. Clean throughout. Parking in underground garage available. Bedroom itself was great with balcony. Bed was comfy. Bathroom had bath with bath salts, rubber duck, candle and matches. Big bath, separate shower and free toiletries. Met staff when we were going for breakfast and they smiled and said good morning. Breakfast had good coffee, fresh juices, yogurts, fresh fruit, nuts.

I did not expect this hotel to be in the location it was - quite industrial/residential. At check-in, the girl literally ignored us for 2/3 minutes. The corridor for the bedroom was something else. Fluffy grey carpet and corrugated-like walls with strange art on them. Really weird. Bedroom balcony had absolutely no view and surrounded by trees. Waited ages at the bar to get a drink but no barman there. Then when he did appear just got ignored again. Eventually ordered a glass of wine which cost nearly 10 euro. Having looked at dinner menu we thankfully gave it a miss and had a fab Chinese carvery just across the road for less than half the price. Came down for breakfast at 9am (open to 10) and there was 1 croissant left and little bread. Asked for more and told that's all they had. No bacon or boiled eggs left and waited for that. No toaster for bread that was there. Hotel has a really confusing layout and mixture if really old and really modern- not sure it worked for us. Nothing of interest in the surrounding area. Not sure how safe it was.

    Very average

The menu at the restaurant in the evening needs some work. The only thing that appealed was the burger but it came with PUMPKIN on it?

Lovely little hotel in a quiet area, staff friendly and helpful, Good sized room with a small balcony, very clean and tidy, comfortable bed and had a good sleep , Bathroom is big, has a bath with a good powerful shower, very modern, bright, clean and tidy, with a clear glass wall and door looking onto the bedroom, Toilet was good size in a separate room, very clean and bright , WiFi was good , Parking was available(7 euros a day), not many spaces though, , but there is off street parking if unable to park at hotel, We didn't have breakfast due to checking out very early to get to airport, so can't comment, It has a spa and wellness area, and restaurant, but our stay was very short, due to our need to get to the airport very early so didn't have time to use unfortunately, just wish we had more time to use more of the facilities , I was very impressed with the hotel and room, would definitely stay again and recommend to others

There's no privacy whatsoever when using the shower due to the clear glass wall and door,

Good location and an ideal stop over. Staff esp. lisa marie and head waiter archi were simply superb and so friendly and welcoming. A marvellous breakfast

No tea / coffee making in rooms albeit we were supplied with them upon request .Rooms quite small.

    6WilfriedPosted on: 7-1-2024

Location, terrace, court yard for breakfast.

Glass wall from bedroom to bathroom. Breakfast choice was just standard, with cereals from industrial sources.

The Staff are always fantastic. From Reception to the Restaurant everyone is lovely. I have stayed here before and in coming back was pleased to see it has retained its charm and service.

Very quiet = perfect nights sleep.Staff were very helpful and a big bonus is the very well laid out spa where you can enjoy the sauna rooms.

Only small thing missing was a kettle in the room for tea/coffee. But that is minor, the stay was very good.

Dinner was excellent, Breakfast while fresh was very limited in its choice would have expected more

For a hotel of this standard to close its reception and worse still turn off the lights in this area. This was the cause of a fall over a step at the reception area, this totally destroyed my holiday, without going into much details, this resulted in having ankle xray placed in a boot and crutches and 2 weeks off work, having emailed owners they did not have the courtesy to respond. The staff informed that I was not the first to have accident with this step.?Stayed in Romantik hotel in Daun the following 2 nights, the difference was exceptional the common courtesy I was afforded in this establishment was exemplary.

Very nice and cozy hotel, nice bar and restaurant. Special kudos to Sven, the Barmen!

    No really complaints.

Mattress is what I liked very much - hard enough to sleep well! Silence and darkness in the room. Breakfast is delicious and various. Fruits in the lobby.

Absence of tea station in a room.

    Pleasant

We were here to celebrate the birthday of my partner. I made dinner reservations at 20:00 hours and asked upon arrival to be seated in the cow stable/barn. This area is the reason I made the booking at this hotel. The waiter told me no because there was no availability there (I saw lots of empty tables). So we were seated in a seperate area. After we were seated we saw several German customers come in (very shortly after we were told no) asking to be seated in the stable if available, to which the waiter replied that there was availability and were seated there. These were NOT customers that made reservations beforehand. We are very dissapointed in the lack of service for foreign customers.

Good spa with 3 saunas and small fitness room. The chill out area has free herbal tea which is good.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to get coffee and cake or any snacks around check in time. The 'spa' area doesn't open until 1700 leaving us a little hungry and bored.

Receptionist was very helpful in providing a phone charger for me and ordering a Taxi.

No restaurant, Bar or any refreshments available at all during my stay on the Monday

Nice very clean good location free parking etc.

Very basic breakfast… there were no famous German sausages :/

    Lovely room Excellent breakfast

    Room was a little small

    9FendickPosted on: 7-7-2023

Luxurious decor and furnishings throughout, beautiful room and bathroom, beds and bedding, breakfast was the best - outstanding quality and variety.

Layout of the hotel was confusing and a few awkward steps to be aware of, throughout.
