    Pros +

    • A very-very nice hotel very close to the highway! The room was big and the beds super comfortable. And the breakfast!!! what an amazing breakfast it was! I will definitely stay there again.
    • The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant staff.
    • Comfortable beds. Clean and spacious bathroom.

    Cons -

    • Nothing really, everything was good!
    • Unfortunately, there were small insects in the rooms. Yes, it's normal for a hotel to be in a green area, but I think pest control could prevent this. There were also some strange smells, both in the hallway and in the rooms.

    Spacious clean bed rooms

Slow check in waited 30 mins. Charge for a miniature Yorkshire terrier was 17euro . Double the cost of other hotels

exceptionally friendly staff !!!!! Good light in the room (good for reading, working, but can of coursed be dimmed, too), good desk for work, nice to have had the terrace and to quickly be in the nice park next to the house. Great location near motorway A40, close to Moers (about 2 km through the Park to the pedestrian zone) and other cities. The huge park near the house is beautiful.

The location of the hotel and the room with quick access to the yard what was very thoughtful considering we have been travelling with 2 dogs. The restaurant is very pretty and the staff very professional and friendly, food was excellent too.

Lack of kettle and tea option in the room

When you’re blacklisted you think twice what happened and why has your staying that should be a nice experience turned i

A Receptionist put me on their Blacklist. Can you imagine. Instead of apologizing he puts me on blacklist because I could not wait more than 10 minutes for an invoice because he needed 8 minutes to bring data in the sistem and required 3 or 4 times my phone to read the data I wrote in my phone notes to enable him to do it. I did this because he could not follow the spelling in English. And after 10 minutes I took my phone and said no worries will get it done latter. This last sentence earned me a title Blacklisted. This is outright disgusting! that there is a list at all which I doubt is ok with GDPR, and that a receptionist who did not welcome me with a smile or hello good evening, welcome to our hotel etc. as one would normally be greeted. Other than that personnel is great in restaurant, bar even cleaners welcome you in the corridors. Food at the dinner was delicious and hotel was clean. But I was outraged on a receptionists right to blacklist someone and at the same time lack basic manners. I hope the hotel manager takes appropriate measures.

I liked breakfast and the hotel overall is beautiful

The hotel is dated, and the rooms have cobwebs. Pets are welcome at additional charge (approx 20Eur, not mentioned anywhere). the biggest disappointment is that the hotel lost a parcel that was delivered for my collection and initially rejected to accept responisiblity for this despite tracking details showing this was delivered to the hotel and me ringing in advance of delivery and receiveing reassurance this fine. Really dissapointing for a 4* hotel

It was a bed for the night. The room was very small but I did book it very last minute as I was travelling and did not know where I was going to be.

Just a single bed and a very small room with no facilities

    Very poor

Unfortunately, my stay was quite disappointing. The hotel corridors had an unpleasant smell, which didn’t give a good first impression. The room and bathroom were not clean, and it was clear that the carpets were old and in need of replacement. Maintenance in the room was poor, with noticeable wear and tear that hadn't been addressed. To top it off, the mattress was so soft and saggy it felt like sleeping in a hammock—definitely not comfortable. Overall, the lack of cleanliness and upkeep made the stay far less enjoyable than expected.

Breakfast and a park to walk around

The basic hotel utilities is not available! No room service available, no phone available in the rooms, no water drinking supply, no tissue box. Basically their basic hotel utilities should be improved. I do not consider this a 4 star hotel without the availability of the simple things mentioned above. In addition to that, the receptionist a blond lady lacks customer service and wanted to charge us for a late check-out on 1st day of new year!!! 1st day of new year breakfast was served lated from 9 to 12 so why she wanted to charge for late checkout. Thanks for the gentleman staff who allowed us to checkout late because it was 1st day of new year and he said late checkout is fine.

Elegant, luxury, cosy, friendly staff, one thing food is good ..

A bit slow in the reception, it's important there are 2 that will assist the guest.
