Featuring a landscaped garden setting, Travelers Motor Village is only around 10-15 minutes' drive from central Newcastle, Newcastle Station, Nobbys Beach and all other tourism hot spots. The air-conditioned guest rooms are equipped with electric coffee/tea making facilities, cutlery & crockery plus flat-screen TV. The private bathroom comes with free toiletries and towels too. Free parking and free Wi-Fi access are both provided. Guest laundry facilities are available as well.

- Staff were friendly, location was fairly convenient being not too far from Broadmeadow station.
Cons -
- We booked two nights at Travelers Inn Newcastle for $510 through Booking.com, and I honestly wish we hadnt. The condition of the property is absolutely filthy unhygienic, neglected, and frankly disturbing. We felt so uncomfortable and concerned for our health and safety that we forfeited one night and paid for another hotel just to get out of there. To make things worse, after we booked, we were informed that the pool was permanently closed due to non-compliance with Newcastle Council. This was not disclosed before booking and was a key reason we chose the property in the first place. This place should not be advertised let alone listed on Booking.com and I strongly question how it passed any kind of vetting process. Booking.com also doesnt make it easy to leave honest reviews, and its no surprise why. Travelers motor village is in such poor condition that it likely wouldnt pass a health department inspection. Avoid this place at all costs.
- The rooms unfortunately smell heavily of cigarette smoke, even after we kept windows open for several hours to try to air to room out. Each room where you sleep has a sky light, making it hard to sleep much longer than sun up.
