- Shirley and his wife are two truly wonderful souls who made our 28-day stay unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here, especially if you're planning to work at the National Teaching Hospital in Galle its just a short 10-minute walk away. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, and the garden is a little oasis of calm and beauty. From the very beginning, Shirley and his wife welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. Their care and support brightened every single day it genuinely felt like we had found a second home. Dont miss out on the delicious dinners lovingly prepared by Madrika every meal was a delight!
