Beach, location, pool, very friendly and helpful staff

Hotel needs maintenance. Lounge chairs vere not enough, some broken and without cushions (so very hard to sit on). Breakfast needs some more continental options such as yoghutñrt, cheese and meats. Restaurant menu needs to be enriched an food quality was average

It is a beautiful resort right at the beach with comfortable rooms and a pretty view. The staff are lovely and helpful. It is a great hotel for the price!

The food was mediocre at best, the beach was a bit dirty although that is not their fault. The pool does not get cleaned often enough and has only a few umbrellas for shade. Worst of all they played the same two songs on a loud speaker for half of the day, it got truly annoying.

It's right on the side of the road so it's s very nice. The lobby is pretty, very nic, friendly n helpful staffs, the bed is extra large, very useful n safe to sleep with your infant in the middle.. there are delicious restaurants next to the hotel

The shower in my bedroom took too long to be warmed. I found some ants crawled on the bed, n there's no light in the hallway so it's pretty dark at night.

Beach side, all the rooms are facing the sea.

The room is a bit old, the hair dryer wasn't provided and you need to request, only 2 bottles of water provided, location is a bit remoted, the breakfast is quite limited.

It's literally on the beach. My suite was fancy and had a large balcony with a pool that looked like a jacuzzi but it wasn't. The shower area looked over the sea, which was amazing. The bed was large and comfortable. There are a lot of breakfast options for Asian guests and some for Western guests. Dixie did a great job in communicating with me and making me happy.

Not much I can think of. Not so many restaurant options around the resort. So you basically have the hotel restaurant and the restaurant next door. No alcohol was served in the hotel, except for expensive red wine by the bottle

Beautiful location with a stunning private beach. The sand and the water is so clear. The hotel is a far away from the city and hence a perfect choice to have a peaceful family stay.Decent vegetarian and local options available in the menu. Breakfast was decent though.

The rooms are not so big and clean. There was dust and dirt around the corners and also found few. The sofa on the balcony was dirty too.It seems as if pool was not maintained and cleaned on regular basis.

Pool was dirty.Sun lounges were worn and no padding.Staff at reception especially the woman was abrupt and rude. No cocktails only limited beer. One evening a Sunday the had no alcohol available I think more to do with the Muslim religion really. Ordered pizza and no beer available!!

The staff were exceptional. I had little children with me and they did all they could to accommodate us.

Slightly run down in parts - but considering price and not a 5 star this is completely acceptable.

The bed was large and comfortable. We loved the fresh bingke cakes at breakfast. Most of all, the staff were incredible. My child got quite sick and they would drop everything to assist us in getting healthcare immediately.

The restaurant was sold out of some of the dishes.

Sea view is amazing, the pool is big and toward to the sea, the staff is kind and helpful and the room is clean with beautifull balcony

Location bit too far end however the private beach was great and clean. Staff can be more friendly. Hotel was clean and my room facing the ocean, was awesome. Thank you, will recommend the hotel to my colleagues and friend.

In comparison to other hotels in Belitung, this is by far a great value for money. We went to Mariott as well and service was appalling just like in this hotel.

Staff was just not friendly, very slow and not helpful at all. With the exception of two receptionists which did their best, everyone else acted as if they didn’t want us there (even though we are decent people). They served spoiled corn at breakfast and as anything else everything took forever even with few guests. Cocktails were advertised but none of bartenders were preparing any.All things considered the location is beautiful, the beach is lovely and it has potential. I must say, Belitung will take a few years to get to a minimum customer service standard. The hotel is far from everything and there is no taxi unless pre-booked well in advance. We could barely find somewhere to eat until a restaurant nearby opened. One receptionist took us by car to go eat and picked us up which we deeply appreciated.

obvious signs of wear and tear on the outdoor furniture getting shabby, the missing glass tops, the many missing pillows and the restaurant chair pillows being not very clean.

Amazing view, friendly staff, excellent breakfast with a lot of varieties (from light meals, mains to cakes), facilities available were sufficient for a staycation if that’s what you feel like doing.

Bathroom could have been cleaner. In ours, the knob to switch between handheld and rain shower wasn’t working so both were always on at the same time (not ideal for a quick rinse after the beach).Please also switch on the hallway lights, as it was a bit creepy walking to/from our room at night.

The rooms and facilities are well maintained. the room was comfy and spacious. the beach is a bit rocky when low tide, but is beautiful. the staff is friendly

the service at the restaurant was very slow and not well organized. we ordered some food and after 30 minutes they waiter comes back to tell us that it was sold out and we had to order something else. it took 1 hour to get food, partially cold. this happened 2 more times during the stay so we decided to go outside the hotel for the next meals.

location was very good. large property with good facilities like sand pit for kids and a large swimming pool. there is also a lovely pier on the waters where you can spend time soaking in the views. the breakfast buffet was also expansive and good variety.

when we arrived the hotel was almost empty and there were no guests since we arrived a day before the long weekend. but we were given rooms that did not have any view so we requested better rooms multiple times. however we were told all rooms are full. then they said they cannot open rooms on any other floor during low season. however by the third day of our stay it was apparent that people coming after us were given rooms on higher floors with better views. so the staff was blatantly lying to us. this soured our whole experience. we will definitely come back to Belitung but never stay in Hotel Santika again. the pool was also not clean and there was a dead lizard on the float.

As expected from Santika hotel, the service was excellent. The room was spacious. I booked twin beds and they were bigger than standard twin beds in other hotels. They can easily accommodate 2 adults + 2 children. The bathroom and balcony were spacious. Staffs were all friendly and super helpful.

Unfortunately the meal was not good. Breakfast was limited and it tasted below standard. I have been a returning customer in Santika hotel for more than 30 years but unfortunately this was the first time I didn't have tasty meal there. Beside breakfast, we went diner once in-site and decided to look elsewhere for the following meal times. We changed room because our first room was very smelly. The housekeeping tried to get rid of the smell but to no succeed. The new room was a lot better but only after we used the bathroom we realized the sink was leaked heavily. We forget to tell the housekeeping but they should have known when cleaning the room everyday (we were there for 3 days) and were so lazy to move room again so we decided to wash our hands and brush our teeth in the shower instead of in the sink. I would be coming back despite the negative things I wrote above. It happens from time to time anywhere and I am sure Santika will improve to maintain its reputation.
