Cons -
- $200 room not in the beautiful building that's on par with a room at the pub for $140. Discovered next day insect bites all over my body. Ensure you read details of property carefully and book by phone to check location of room.

- Under construction, but looking forward to seeing how it turns out

The Style, the View, comfortable bed & external door access from our room to outside verandah at Guesthouse was Perfect with new puppy with us. The shared Kitchen, Lounge & Bathroom facilities were large, well equipped with all needs & extremely clean. Be great for large family gatherings. View from Hilltop location over Wellington was beautiful & nighttime kangaroos.
Nil Complaints ?
Under renovation so no breakfast but host suggestion for dinner and breakfast spot on Good choice to go to for mealsThe host was brilliant with all the help if needed
Nothing we didn’t like Everything was fantastic old place
Beautiful old heritage building that stood out on the hill
It suited our purpose. However the website gives false advertising as to the accommodation.
No light at the code panel for auto gates as late arrivals prove difficult. No Info on the historic property, we had to Google.
Beautiful restored old property. Spacious common area and kitchen. Great features like fridge and tea and coffee facilities in our room. Our room had a shared bathroom, which was clean and spacious. Host recommended the Lion of Waterloo for dinner. A very good call. Enjoyed our stay. The only issue was that the security gate would not open automatically for our motorcycle. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and expect we will be back.
I had a very enjoyable stay, I was met by Lee he was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, beautiful clean linen comfy bed, amenities very clean. Would stay again. Thanks
Clean and comfortable, quiet. Suited our needs
Nothing exceptionally negative to report
I needed to stay near Mudgee but there was nothing available.
The bed was uncomfortable. There was a loud reverberating noise during the night that woke me up.
The spacious room, the very comfortable bed, the separate bathmats for each guest.
Sharing a hallway with others...especially young children running up and down it.
excellent atmosphere, cool history, lovely owners, lots of great facilities, beautiful surroundings, comfortable and very reasonably priced! all round 10/10
Great location and views, pool was lovely and pet friendly which was perfect for us. Will stay here again
The bed and pillows were very hard
Price and facilities are great. Property is peaceful and very well maintained. Pools fantastic for the heat!!
I travel with my son and dislike your unable to lock the patio doors from the outside as he is 2 and gets in and out easily. It’s also not very safe for during the night.
Very clean, friendly manager, ample parking and good views. Historic buildings on site.
Restaurant was closed for renovations, so no breakfast available.
Everything was very nice
clean and tidy .pool was great bonus.
Restaurant was closed due to renovations. Whilst it would have not influenced our stay, it would have been good if this was communicated more clearly prior to check-in.
Non-contact check-in and check-out was convenient; however, we did not see any staff on the property for the duration of our stay which led to a feeling of isolation.
Loved the location and the grandeur of the property. Nice and quiet. Stunning relaxed view from the veranda
Fly screen on the door to the veranda would be great in the future. Would have loved to leave the door open at dawn....Maybe blind to darken the room for long sleepers in the future
Location was good as it was near family. The restaurant would be good if open.
Would have liked the restaurant to of been open . Did have a broken light in the bedroom .
