The motel room was in need of an update as was the very hard bed and even worse pillows - lumpy or very flat! Had all the appliances for breakfast but we had to ask for cutlery and crockery. Workmen were on site so they could be doing something towards addressing the issue.

The bed was super comfy and I loved the pillows.

I enjoyed the room, the lock to my room was a little tricky to unlock, but worked perfectly fine.

Welcoming, clean and comfortable. Easy to locate and good parking.

Dated, could do with some upgrades.

    7JeanPosted on: 2-19-2025

Location, very central to everything in the area.

The refrigerator should be turned on (switch) by cleaning staff when preparing the room for a guests arrival. This allows time for the refrigerator to cool as a guests may require the fridge to store medications. As the fridge is not turned on, Milk is not provided for the supplied tea/coffee.

The staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful. Great value for money. The room was perfectly clean.

A bit noisy near the road and also a train during the night. Light sleepers will struggle a bit.

Very professional and attentive service. Good value for money, especially considering that we were travelling during peak season. Clean. The surrounding area was quite pleasant as well.

    Affordable and comfortable

Microwave but no cutlery or bowls/plates to eat on.Sheet & rug only, no quilt.

    8IgorPosted on: 1-7-2025

Big spacious room, quite clean and comfortable.Communication with staff was very good.Good Chinese restaurant nearby.

A little bit on the more expensive side.

This little motel is very dated, but spotlessly clean and run by a very friendly and helpful Indian family who create a lovely family feel to the business. It's only about half an hour to Albany and well worth staying here, especially if you are on a tight budget.

My worst thing is that the mirror in the bathroom is not useable because it has been mounted on the side wall over the vanity. This means that you would need to either stand in the shower to see yourself, or lean over the vanity and crane your neck.

    Close to town.

Over priced for what's on offer. Was charged an additional $10 on arrival for twin beds which was the original booking. Rooms are small and dated, despite two of us staying only given one water and milk for coffee at reception. There is no valley view here, but there is a well maintained garden to look out at. Overall it is very basic accommodation (but clean) and not worth the $170 a night given the Porongurups and Albany are just down the road with many more options for the same price.

Stayed there previously and was an easy choice when looking at accommodation options. Good place to stay and close to town and the rooms are adequate for an overnight stay. Beds are comfortable and bathroom has the usual facilities.

    9SuPosted on: 12-6-2024

Perfect to get to the town by bike and we liked the shops there. There was a lovely garden behind the rooms and seating - really nice.

Accommodation a bit dated and bedroom areas, kitchenette and bathroom a bit smaller than some we stayed in.

Comfort, cleanliness, beds, and the setting among the magpies!
