I had a really pleasant stay here. The room was clean and comfortable and everything worked the way it should. The location was convenient and overall, it made for an easy enjoyable visit. I’d happily stay again.

The room was clean and comfortable. Set back from the main road offered convenience to the local shops and restaurants, but also offered a tranquil environment. There was ample parking and communication regarding arrival and access was a simple process. Definitely a place to return to!

Great locate clean and tidy. Room had everything we needed and was exactly as pictured and described own was very accommodating and staff friendly. Large carpark and nice garden area in front of unit to sit .

The spa bath with shower over was not practical for me as a nearly 80 year old - the height to access the space was unsafe for me. A step up would help. Also the height that the shower head was affixed to the wall was far too high - a lower bracket to provide a choice for shorter people would definitely be a good option. A new TV remote is needed as the taped together one did not work.

This is a nice place for a quick stopover and explore the town. Very clean and bed was very comfortable with the very basics of things. Walking distance to just about everything.

As a non smokers it was very unpleasant to be able to smell cigarettes from other people smoking. If you are offering non smoking maybe have a smoker's area away from the verandah.

This place is a real gem, the rooms are cosy, clean, comfortable and have everything you need. The owner is friendly and responsive and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay ☺️

Spa….a bit difficult to get in and out of.

Advertised kitchen but wasn't one. photos don't represent what there is. Someone was living in the room next door. Walls are paper thin, no insulation, you could hear the tap dripping in their shower. The room needs fresh paint, better dusting,I looked for the switch for the lamp and noticed the inside of the lamp very dusty. The door needs to be planed, its sticky.Cheap linen is used.

The bed was comfortable. Great location in the centre of York. With just a little more attention could be a great place.

The attitude of the owner. Made us feel like idiots when we ended up in the driveway next door. Suggested they make changes to their instructions. The wardrobe was locked so they could store linen for the complex in it. We had a makeshift rack to hang our wet towels on along with our clothes. No designated vanity had to use laundry sink. Power points were tripping out in kitchen. No disability or easy access for people with walking difficulties. Not allowed to use top bunk and not much room to put the folding bed provided. Fortunately we did not need to use it.

Spacious room, everything worked, 50 meter stroll to cafe for breakfast. Nyugens bakery opens at 5 an for coffee and bakery goodies. Very quiet lovely patio to sit outside of an evening or for early mirning coffee

No wifi

It was conveniently located in the main street but away from the road.

We didn’t like how easy it was to hear noises from the room next door where a man had three extreme coughing spells during the night which disturbed our sleep. They also had the television on from the early hours of the morning and this noise also travelled.

Advertised as a Suite, when in reality it was a motel room. The list of amenities was incorrect. No BBQ, no additional toilet, no cooking facilities other than the microwave, although sold with a kitchenette. No sink, nor cutting surface, nor anything to cut with or on. The coffee /tea maker is a kettle.
