Just 7 minutes’ walk from Lake Taupo, Silver Fern Lodge features a sunny terrace with lake views. Silver Fern Lodge Taupo is 10 minutes’ walk from Tongariro Street, with its many shopping and dining options. Taupo Airport and the famous Huka Falls are each a 10-minute drive away. Some rooms have air-conditioning/heating and a TV. All rooms have a mini-bar fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms also have a private balcony. The tour desk can book activities including bungy jumping, skydiving, rafting, De bretts hot pools, wairaike terraces and fishing. The property also offers a communal kitchen and luggage storage facilities. Free parking is available on site.

Cons -
- Unlike the photos shown during booking, the bathroom and shower were shared. The card key didn?t work, so we had to take turns showering and using the bathroom since no one was available to open the door for us.
