Abbots Hotel is 5 minutes' drive from the Claudelands Event Center and 8 minutes' drive from Waikato University. Hamilton International Airport is 20 minutes' drive away. The property offers a free off-street parking area for cars. The spacious rooms feature a kitchenette with a refrigerator, toaster and tea/coffee making facilities. Each room includes a flat-screen TV and an private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Abbots Hamilton provides 2 comfortable meeting rooms with a range of conference services, including food and drink facilities. Our restaurant and bar are temperately closed from 14th Nov 2021 till further notice. Reception hours are Monday to Sunday and Public holidays 8 am-7 pm. If you expect to arrive outside these hours you must inform the property in advance in order to arrange late check in and key collection. If you do not inform the property a late check in fee of NZD $50 may apply. Please note that there is a 3% charge when you pay with an American Express or Diners Club credit card. You must show a valid credit card upon check in. This credit card must be in the same name as the guest's name on the booking confirmation. Please note that the dinner special option includes a free continental breakfast and a pre-set dinner menu. The property will be renovating from 5 October 2022.
