- Has a great country feel and fantastic bar/ restaurant area.
- Breakfast was good. Dinner was excellent. Wine was limited but pleasant.. Accomodation was a little dated but pleasant
- The room was large, the view was beautiful, the bed was very comfy
Cons -
- When asking for the bar menu at 450pm and told that the kitchen can’t provide any food as it was Valentine’s Day. And there was a set menu for dinner only. We had had a couple of drinks and couldn’t drive into town for something to eat. When we then pushed requirements of the business about the service of food and alcohol suddenly we could order something to eat . We we thanked the waitress as she took our order she had her back turned to us and walked off before saying no problem just loud enough for us to hear . Same for when she placed the food at the table.
- Water temperature in the shower varied quite a bit. Steps up to the first floor was a bit of a struggle with a heavy suitcase
- The bathroom was a little dated, but it had everything you needed and was very clean

Beautiful scenery and the staff
The fold out futon couch really sunk in the middle so was a little uncomfortable for the guest
This is our second time back and we loved the variety and quality of the breakfast

Great happy staff! Wonderful breakfast Comfy bed Good restaurant Grateful for the pool on a hot day!
The pool was very refreshing espically on the hot day we went, and the beds were super comfy and the place was stunning
Everything was good , couldn’t fault
The breakfast was fantastic! The person on duty was so friendly and polite and made sure that all dishes were topped up regularly.
Nothing at all.
Lovely and homey, with a little bit of grandeur - absolutely loved it and will definitely be back for a country escape. We enjoyed the games room - pool, darts and table tennis are available for all guests. There's a self-service (pay as you go) bar which we also enjoyed. We then dined in for dinner, which was extremely good. The restaurant is wonderful and has a cosy atmosphere. On the Sunday my partner had organised a picnic with the venue, which came with a wine tasting so we could pick out the wines to take on our picnic. Absolutely delicious food provided with the delicious wines.
Sofa bed could have been a little comfier for the 3rd guest, but overall great stay.
We were very impressed by the homemade cob and oil upon arrival. We loved the room the views and the amazing buffet breakfast
There was only one thing we did not like and that was the aircon did not work and it was a very hot in the lovely room and there was no alternative to open the balcony door as there were no screens
We booked the cottage for our family get together for Xmas. It was great that we could be all together under the one roof. The rooms were spacious and we loved that all bedrooms had there own ensuite. As a whole we loved the location and the serenity of the place. On arrival we sat in the garden area of the restaurant and enjoyed a beautiful Chardonnay with bread and dips. For dinner we dined in the restaurant. There is only one word to explain the menu and that was exceptional!! This place is a hidden gem and will be definitely going back to dine in.
The only feedback I could give is the pool could have been cleaner for our swim.
Great friendly staff and a very peaceful location. Free parking and a restaurant on site. Location is accessible by car only.
It is truly a beautiful destination and is one that you get time to relax and spend time with the ones you travel with. Service at restaurant was great and the view so peaceful.
It is a little tired but I can imagine maintenance is expensive
Beautiful gardens. Quiet and restful location. We played table tennis. Had an excellent dinner at the Glen Erin restaurant. The bedroom was spacious. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. I had conversations with other guests who were very happy with the accommodation and the lovely breakfast. Will definitely return.
Loved everything
The old charm of the place was beautiful staff are extremely friendly and the facilities were great
Amazing food with innovative choices and top quality local produce. Location and views, cleanliness , friendly staff, large room. Well situated as a base to do day trips, lots of little extras such as games room, lounge with a good variety of drinks, areas indoors and outdoors to get together as a group. Perfect setup for group gatherings
Yes it’s an older property but their accommodation prices realistically reflect that, if you need your polished marble foyer then maybe it’s not for you but if you want comfort, cleanliness and friendly staff you can’t go wrong.
Our room was clean and inviting, the staff were friendly and attentive. The location was amazing. The experience was perfect.
Staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant - it was outstanding and the three courses would not have been out of place in a top end Melbourne CBD restaurant.
Clean, comfortable and in a beautiful location to be able to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We met friends for lunch at the restaurant and enjoyed a very pleasant long lunch with good food provided by friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend.
Glen Erin is just gorgeous, and the gardens and vineyard setting is lovely. Our room was very clean and spacious, the breakfast was plentiful and yummy, and the bed was comfy. It’s also only a couple of minutes back to the town if you need to shop or sightsee.
