Located on a 100-acre farm, Hatchers Richmond Manor offers self-contained accommodations with a spa bath, free WiFi and views over Coal River or the Tasmanian countryside. The property features BBQ facilities, a restaurant and a bar. All units have a kitchenette or kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator. Each has a spacious living area with a TV. Hatchers Manor Richmond is 20 minutes’ drive from Hobart Airport. Central Hobart and the famous Salamanca Market are each a 30-minute drive away. Guests can stroll through the apricot orchards, or feed the farm animals. The hotel can arrange a horse and cart to take guests around the area. Free parking is available on site. The café serves a varied menu based on local produce, including homemade jam and fresh ice cream. The bar specializes in a range of Tasmanian wines.

- Very grand old manor with a nice farm attached. Room was spacious.
Cons -
- This accomodation is in serious need of an update. The mattresses were completely gone and uncomfortable, the walls were paper thin so you could hear everything next door, the plumbing is really old and every time someone in the complex turned on a tap, the pipes would bang (this happened throughout the night), smoke detectors had tape over them or a shower cap, and the TV was old and buzzed annoyingly when turned on so it was unusable.
