- The location was good, an easy walk to the sea-front through pleasant gardens. At least a dozen restaurants within 5 minutes and better quality and value than the those on the sea-front. Plenty of free parking available. The reception staff (both called Lahsen) were very kind and helpful and spoke very good English. Breakfast was a basic continental affair served on the roof terrace - watch out for the gulls! Rooms with balconies can be quite noisy so I swapped to a 'garden view' room and woke to the sound of bulbuls, pigeons and twittering sparrows. The Ritz this is not, but it is extremely good value.
