Cons -
- No wifi. Small and dirty room.
- Our room was a bit far from restaurants and in the 2nd floor of that building while the 1st floor rooms had direct access from the room to the swimming pool.?I only booked full board food instead of all-inclusive. Was a mistake but our own fault.
- The rusted taps and shower heads, showers were leaking out of the shower when the water was switched on, Breakfast was the same each day no real change or alternatives especially on the chicken front. Plastic glasses in rooms provided which were disgusting, towels were white and not clean and not changed daily. 1 type of beer of beer offered in the all inclusive which was a pilsner and it was always hot and poured into plastic drinking glasses which were looking terrible.

Wifi was a little slow but I guess that islands in general. The water heater in my room 329 wasn’t working , and was never attended to even after notifying them ,I found the resort to be Super Busy , lots movement so you won’t hardly have time to your self , which means Business is good I guess .I would definitely go back tho ..
Hotel, food and service, considering the price.
Incredible loud and very bad taste music every night Next to a loud construction area that start loud noise early mornings Room not clean, bad smell and balcony was blocked by a horrible foil or artificial wall In other Hotels in Zanzibar staff was much more friendly and flexible Would not recommend with children Buffett was the same food everyday (unfortunately not very good), 2-3 same meals every day at lunch and dinner for children, not healthy and the same was also given to adults Playground not on the private part of the beach belonging to the hotel, so it was a bit difficult to actually play they Many local people constantly trying to sell you trips or things on the beach which can make the whole experience a bit uncomfortable, as they do not always take no for an answer
On the surface it is a lovely resort with very friendly, helpful employees. Buffet is abundant, something for everyone.Nightly entertainment was fantastic!
Resort needs updating structurally, needs lots of repairs. We stayed 3 nights & asked at least 7 people to fix the vent cover in the bathroom which was open all the time, letting air conditioning OUT & lizards & bugs IN the room. We hung a towel over it. We even told the Property Manager.
Staff was very welcoming..Miriam in the dining hall was just delightful! She always made us feel welcomed! Chris in Guest relations was amazing and helped us sort a few things out while staying there
Rooms definitely need to be updated, My mom's front room door handle came off .Our toilet seat came off and there are no televisions in the room
If you want the best experience possible please get the bungalow on the beach room because it is phenomenal! The staff were very kind in helping us out especially Mr Ebrahim and his customer service team. The first (regular room) the AC did not work all night so we were really disappointed. They then relocated us to the best room in the hotel which was incredible! Thank you so much for all your help Mr. Ebrahim and customer service representative Joelle. The hotel is actually 2 hotels in one. The pools are lovely. The BEACH doesn't exist but the hotel is very well equipped with all kinds of entertainment
The food was exquisite. Excellent food
Bathrooms were leaking and not cleaned properly on a daily basis. Hygiene in the bathrooms is a major concern.
The resort had nice swimming pools, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort is on the beach
The beach that the resort was on was smelly and not suitable for swimming. You get harassed by locals trying to sell you stuff as soon as you are on the beach—no privacy. The room service never dried the floors after cleaning; the floor was always wet.The swimming towels smelled bad, even when you got new ones. They had a change sheets card that we used once or twice, but the sheets were never changed. The paid-for dinner on the beach was very disappointing, and there was a lack of effort on their side, and they tried to do two couples' dinners at the same time. While it should have been a "private" beach dinner. Also, there were no drinks included in the price.
Really bad, we had to change hotels.
The toilet was leaking, there was no curtain in the bathroom you could see form the outside. there was mold inside the shampoo, the ac didnt worked and room was damped.
There are Plenty of facilities and pools, staff is very cordial, they have many hangout points, evening activities. The place is very peaceful too. Whether you want to enjoy with family/friends or just relax, this is the best place.
They have a Indian restaurant and I pre-enquired about availability of vegetarian food. It was informed that they have plenty of vegetarian options which was my main reason for booking this resort. But, there is hardly anything for vegetarians which was very disappointing. However, Chefs and staffs were courteous enough to take specific request. Still naming a restaurant as 'Namaste' and and claiming that as Indian restaurant is deceiving, as food preparation is not at all Indian style. I felt like wasted my money for full board.
Variety of the salads.
Breakfast was ok but lacked pork bacon and typical RSA bread or wholewheat and rye bread. I was hoping to get fried or grilled fish but instead only curried fish was provided. The chefs must cut back on salt - they must learn to put just about enough salt when cooking and allow patrons to add some salt, depending on their choice. We found most of our meals rather too salty and we couldn't mitigate or reverse the taste.
Beautiful resort with great facilities and activities. One can never get bored. We loved our stay, the staff is super friendly and helpful. I am definitely coming back when we visit Zanzibar. Asante sana!
Find a better way to repel flies by the food area.
Beautiful, clean well kept. Nice pools, good food and drinks every day everywhere you go. Have people to give you tours if you would like to go and have loads in every day. Nzuri Sana (Very Good)
We absolutely loved our stay . The perfect hotel for kids. All inclusive was a great choice. Food was a variety and tasty. Breakfast was average but Lunch and Dinner definitely made up for it . 3 Restaurants to choose from we didn't get bored. Entertainment after 9 at night was amazing and very thoughtful of the hotel. Drinks were a variety aswell . We got a upgrade upon arrival . Thank u Loveness. She got us checked-in quick n comfortable. Miss the place already.
The shower was sad and slow. The beds were not comfort to sleep in , but was fully aware of the hard beds. Breakfast needs help but as mentioned Lunch n Dinner was amazing at all 3 restaurants. Lots of flies at Main larger buffet restaurant. But understand its the heat n food combo attracting the flies.
Verseker die moeite werd!Al die personeel was baie vriendelik.Die kos en drinks was n groot verskeidenheid en heerlik!
I booked a trip for my parents, this is their feedback: Staff super friendly. The hotel was really nice, the rooms had amazing mattress. The food was also very good. We booked several day trips with them and everything went well. On our last day, the checkout was early and our flight late, but they were amazing and moved us to another room free of charge. I recommend.
Very beautiful resort. There are three pools and a kidspool, three restaurants and four bars. The food is decent and you are never hungry since there are snack hours between every meal. They have lots of excursions and a massage parlour and a gym. They also have different shops although a bit expensive. Location is alright. They have different types of entertainment with traditional music and dances. Our room was clean and comfortable.
Their pool-table needs a replacement. Our room was right next to a construction site so it was a bit noisy during the day. The Wi-Fi was terrible in the room and the pictures and descriptions of the rooms aren’t updated, since our room didn’t have a couch nor a TV. Even though we wanted to have a massage, the experience of the spa staff other guests have had, is understandable since they are a bit pushy. The sea water is a bit murky and filled with seaweed, so we didn’t swim in the ocean.
Size and and location had potential
The staff are incredibly rude, racial and in some cases harassing/intimidating. Food was awful, everything covered in flys and no appreciation for hygiene in any sense.
