- Cleaners, beach front, lots of animals, creative tree house, massage
- Big buffet breakfast with lots of choice. Meals menu also offered good choice, with Western, Asian, African dishes. Good service.Nice big, clean rooms. Staff always cheerful and keen to be helpful. Water, coffee, tea etc. in rooms; small piece of shortbread in the evening.Hotel sits behind a 330m long beach front and you can walk further along the beach. Sea swimming tends to be limited to high tide as the beach is pretty level so the tide goes out for hundreds of metres, making it a long walk to the water. But there's a nice pool and the hotel is in process of building a bigger, better pool complete with islands! The hotel is very peaceful. Local village of Chwaka is a quiet, Zanzibari fishing village with a university campus; there is little for tourists within walking distance out-with the hotel. The hotel has a small pool table, tennis racquets available, a basic gym. There are caves to visit on the compound along with donkeys, rabbits, monkeys, cats, a camel. The hotel has taxis keen to take you to Zanzibar's tourist spots.Holiday was great value for money (we got a good deal through Booking.com).
- Staff very friendly. The maasai would ensure youre safe walking on the beach. The kitchen and other staff would make sure youre well tended to
Cons -
- During our stay, generator was broken, there was no electricity almost whole morning & day time. I couldn’t charge my phone and it was very hot and dark in the room in the evening time. I was about to ask candles. Then finally it came back.
- Wifi data speed is very low. Maybe look into getting Starlink.
- Some insects noise on the roof may be on this particular room needs renovations.

The hotel had monkeys and good food. Everyone was very friendly, especially the restaurant staff. Said, Chacha, Hitesh were all excellent!

Absolutely wonderful location and place. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we immediately felt at home. Even though we were too early, Emmanuel stored our luggage until the room was available. We were invited to enjoy a drink by the pool or at the restaurant until our room was ready. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our bags were taken to the room. The room was cool from the air conditioning. The location of the suite is in front of the beach. The most beautiful sunrise in the morning with coffee. You wake up with the sea in front of you. The tame camels, donkeys, sheep, goats, turkeys and cat were so cute to us. The room is very spacious, and the bed is extra wide and comfortable. Every night, they came to spray our room for mosquitoes (although there are mosquito nets) with a special note and cookies. We enjoyed the armchairs right on the balcony every night while we looked at the sea with sundowners. We felt very safe, and the nature and gardens were very beautiful. The humor on the notice boards, books and notes is really cute and unique. The food was plentiful and very tasty. In the evening, the gardens are transformed with different colored lights. We will definitely go back again Hakuna Matata Antonio’s
It's clean and house keeping is goid

Great place to relax away. Great drive and walks on the beach. The breakfast was also great. The upcoming tree houses and the caves are great to see.
The gym and the swimming pool need revamp. No slippers in the rooms and the hot water sometimes runs out in the shower.
Excellent Service all round from staff. Our flight arrived early,so when we arrived at the accomodation a few hours earlier we were welcomed with kindness and generosity. They assisted with our luggage and allowed us to check in a little earlier.Good management from the reception, restaurant and drivers.Enjoyed our stay!

He is making sure all guests are feeling satisfied and comfortable and solve any issue, I want to thank him for everything he has done during our stay ...And I want to say thank you to everyone, especially the professional young waiters, Cha Cha , Issa , and other guys too, and the two girls in the restaurant and all the housekeeping team ..Also the transportation agent for the hotel Ahamed he is very nice arranging our pickup and dropping , he organize also our trip with a good reasonable price ..thank you..Thank you, everyone ?
Nothing I don't like just I wish if they can improve the gym spot in the future...
We had 3 meals breakfast, lunch and dinner...each dish was curated in a very special manner with lovely flavours and keeping intact the quality and presentation The quantity of the food was excellent as well. The cocktails were also good. The location of the property is amazing, its at the beach, has a pool, has caves, has donkeys to play with, camels, a gym. The property gives you much more than u expect. Thank you for a pleasant stay. Also, the staff is very humble, friendly. Special thanks to Hitesh, the chef from India, and Issa.

The place of the hotel is very nice. The rooms are clean, and every day is cleaned. The staff is very nice. The place is quiet.
You can not enjoy the beach.
The staff are superb, they make our stay super fun and relaxing. Place is really good for relaxation. A place which is away from anything.
Just we wee disappointed, they are randomly saying we have half board and then when bill comes out. We dont have. I dunno if its their way to market more.
The customer service was out of this world. From the front desk staff to the restaurant, even to the Massai helping us with carrying heavy bags. Those cookies were sleep inducing, lol. 5 star service and cleanliness
It was a bit hard to find. GPS took us off the path
Characterful. Swimming pool area. On the beach.
Remote. Nothing nearby other than walking up the beach to the next resort.
I was here for the second time during the last six months. A wonderful place to relax for a few days! The dromedar at the entry is a curious creature and doesn’t give easily way to visitors ?Donkeys bring yourself with your luggage to the flat. The terrace of the room gives a gorgeous view over the sea. The restaurant offers very nice meals, especially sea food is strongly recommended! The price was just unbeatable.Antonio Beach Tree Hotel is highly recommended!
The construction of the new and giant pool area was ongoing from early in the morning till night. But to be fair-there was no noice disturbing the calm of the place.
The service in particular was perfect, good food and staff always friendly and ready to help. The room was lovely with very nice little details and everyday super clean! The place was quiet and relaxing, we really appreciated it!
The beaches in the area were not the best but we rented a motorbike and we could move around the island easily
Food was great, staff is very friendly.
Staff is not all good in speaking English which makes communication difficult.Food and drinks are but expensive.
nice, beatifull, palm trees, beach, sun; willing taxi service; nice place, little tourist traffic, good food,
all OK, at low tide the sea is far away, swimming pool under construction and unfinished;
We really enjoyed the welcoming, the gate and the entrance is very pretty but the cherry on top was the Masaai's which take you with the carriage to your room. We get to dance with the Maasai's while they were performing that was awesome with even made Maasai's friends, We just loved it, we really felt welcomed. Exceptional receptionists and staff, the management was nice as well, he allowed us a late check out. They have a cool tour guide who comes to you and you just have to pick and organised your activities right with him at the resort with very nice cars and drivers at your disposal. We had the best experience in Antionio Beach Resor, and we 100% recommend it.
The only thing that I did not enjoy personally was waking up and have to see donkeys poo right in front of our sea view balcony, but other than that everything else was enjoyable and thanks to every one that made our stay at Antonio Beach Resort exceptional.
Clean lovely bungalow's, pool nice
Down side it's quite isolated. Food works out expensive because you cant just nip out to a local restaurant everything in $'s.
