We went to Durban without an reservation, having left Johannesburg a day early. This was a clean hotel, decent breakfast. We were on our way to a safari park. It satisfied our need for a place to stay near Durban

Cleanliness and the food was great. The facility is close to many amenities.

Absence of a bar fridge and bottled water in the rooms.

Clean spacious room

All surfaces had too much polish, had to wear my shoes all the time. Air-conditioning not very effective

The hotel was clean. They room was big and spacious.

Going to the first building to get an iron.

Nothing this place needs a proper face lift lots of visitors but Hotel is not up to the standard you are just sleeping for the sake of sleeping you won't visit for a holiday it's bad.

Rooms , carpets smelling and old fashioned out of style

Staff member at the reception and security at the gate was very welcoming. Linen and the hotel is clean.

The plug for the hairdryer was faulty, kettle was not working, tv was not working. I do not think that there is wifi.

The Aircon, which was so loud, but didn't really work....and the fact that two managers came to tell me I'm behind time with checking out, which I had already knew, but I just didn't like the bad vibe, they gave me, it made me feel unwanted and no longer needed.

The hotel's location was ideal, within close proximity to my training venue.My room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, perfect for a short stay.

I was disappointed to find that my room was located in a separate building from the main hotel that was not mentioned about the hotel.This meant I had to walk to the main hotel for check in, check out and using the restaurant and then walk outside to access my room, which was inconvenient, especially on a rainy day.I also felt that the hotel's layout was not ideal, with deluxe and executive rooms located in the main building, while other rooms, like mine, were relegated to a separate building. This made me feel like I was being segregated from the rest of the hotel.While the receptionist was somewhat friendly, I felt that she could have been more welcoming and helpful.

Well sized rooms and a good size bed as well. Breakfast staff is very helpful and kind.

Noise levels very high from guests and the hotel staff don’t bother themselves like it’s a norm . Equipment such as TV’s and Air-con are very old. Couch in the room was old as well.

Peaceful & quiet. Toiletries provided. Some of the staff were friendly.

The receptionist didn't give us any information other than where our room was. No wifi password, no info on the breakfast, dinner etc or where we could find info on the breakfast & dinner etc in the room (which we had to figure out). There was a used plate & glass on the floor at the entrance of our room when we arrived which was in the afternoon. We assumed that someone would remove them at some point, however, they remained throughout the evening & we eventually had to move them away from our room door. The aircon was very old, extremely noisy & didn't cool the room at all so it was very hot & stuffy. The room had a musty smell. The wash basin was situated in the room outside of the bathroom which was odd. Only one cup provided at the basin but room was booked for a couple. Overall, it really wasn't what we expected from what we saw on booking.com but I suppose you get what you pay for.
