Simple but clean room and bathroom

They gave me the wrong door code and the kitchen was dirty and messy for the 2 days I stayed here

We knew what kind of hotel room we have booked and we got what we expected.I would say Sami City Hotel is convenient. The hotel does not have staff working on site. You access the building and your room via different codes that you get on the check-in day. We were driving and we just needed a place to spend the night, so for us this was easy and we can arrive at any time, no depend on reception times etcThe room was comfortable, clean enough (even though there was some dust in some places), renovated, warm, with private toilet and shower.The common area was downstairs. We used the fridge and freezer and made breakfast there. The kitchen was small and had couple of tables. There was just another 2 guests in the common area, so it did not feel full. This area could have been a bit more cozy. The parking was clean of snow and we could access easily. Beds felt comfortable and even if it was 2 single beds, there was this metal part to connect them.

-No reply to my messages in booking platform about the parking and the possibility to plug my car, as it was cold.-More cozy common area: some sofas, carpets, more tables...-No staff could be a problem for many-Some signs about "what is behind each door" or pointing down to the kitchen would help to find the common areas-Cleaning the freezer/fridge. There was an abandoned lonely sausage in the freezer and this was not very inviting

It was cosy and close to the main town centre.

We asked for an iron to iron our clothes and the manager didn’t bother to get back to us.

The apartment is very big, modern and clean. (Almost) Everything there is new and the kitchen nice and well equipped. Arriving quite late we spent a bit of time to quickly prepare some pasta being no other reasonable options to eat out, after shopping in the supermarket two minutes drive away. The free parking is just outside so can park the car literally next to the door. We had a bit of fun using the sauna.

One of the main reason for booking this accommodation was the washing machine to do the laundry in the middle of our long trip. Here was the big negative surprise: there was no power outlet next to the machine, the hose was not connected (sitting inside the drum), so basically it was apparently useless and the pictures misleading. I had to drive again to the supermarket and buy an extension cord to be able to power from an outlet outside the bathroom and connect everything on my own.The toiletries were partially missing and the shower and toilettes were overall in quite bad shape, with a lot of water infiltration in the walls.

We prepared the breakfast by ourselves in the common kitchen. The location is good, very quiet. The distance to the bus terminal is not very far.

There was no hairdryers in some room. Some windows cannot be closed easily. The hotel name was not clearly visible on the road. Other guests made the kitchen a little bit messy.

Had a communal kitchen and was clean and rennovated.

Property signage says Motel ( visable from Road) and then White Reindeer on a sign on driveway. So a bit confusing as I booked it as ‘ Sami City’. Didn’t get check in instructions until mid afternoon so was a bit confused what to do / expect when we arrived a bit earlier. Never saw any staff member. Our room was next to front door & carpark so heard people at night coming in. I felt was overpriced for what it was. But few options in Karasjok.

We recommend staying at the SamiCity hotel. Very nice and responsive personnel. We received clear instructions from the hotel on how to enter our room since we arrived at the location outside the check-in hours. Easy to reach, with generous parking right in front of the hotel. Large and clean rooms, corresponding to the pictures in our reservation.

The kettle was missing and the soap recipients were empty. Other than this, we had a great stay.

I had a huge room & it looked over the beautiful valley. Great location & easy in/out

There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher & food left in the fridge & the shower needed repair.

Very nice appartment, this place is huge, nice and clean, easy to find, the host even offered an extra room for free so we would be more comfortable. Very lightful in the morning, sauna and well equipped kitchen ! Highly recommand, the host was very friendly and available =)
