Scandic Karasjok

Nice location, nice service, nice shower, comfortable bed, friendly staffs, good breakfast, good restaurant with Sami Gamme style that is part of the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and had a good sleep.

Well located for an one-night stop. Shopping & petrol station nearby. Hotel offers Gym and Sauna. Staff was friendly.Like all other Scandic hotels we have visited, the breakfast is really outstanding. Chapeau!!!

Rooms (at least ours) lookes a bit old and could use some tenovation. Bathroom floor had some mould, sink was broken (but did not leak). Those things are "ok" id you stay for one night, but not for longer stays, to my opinion.

It was a strategic stop during our road trip. Checking in and out was quick and easy, and the room was clean and comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent and breakfast selections were amazing.

Loved the Sami restaurant. Rooms and decor excellent.

The rooms were hot in July. We asked for a fan, but really every room needs a fan in hot weather.

The location for us was perfect. We arrived cold and wet, before even checking in we were given a seat and a hot cup of coffee, most welcome indeed.Check in was easy, room was very clean and comfortable with a great shower. View was through trees towards the Sapmi cultural park.The restaurants was quite unique, sort of underground with a central area and circular rooms off it, each had their own fire pit, food was very good.If we were in the area again we would definitely use this hotel again, probably stay longer too.

This property punches above its weight - it’s a modest hotel with the most amazing staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the breakfast is amazing - so much variety and so much quality. The staff are charming: friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help out with problems. The amazing Sami restaurant Gammen attached to the hotel is a must try - built underground and with open fires to sit around why you try local treats such as reindeer stew with cloudberries.

Karasjok is in the heart of Sami country and this hotel is in the heart of Karasjok. Good room, good wi-fi. Excellent restaurant with Sami-derived decor. Excellent buffet breakfast. You can walk to the Sami Park/Parliament/Museum etc.

The lady at the desk shouldn't tell people that the Sami park is open at 8.30 when it opens at 10! We were not the only ones confused.

Very good in almost every respect: staff, room, location, scenery. Beautiful and unique restaurant.

The beautiful restaurant has limited vegetarian options, in fact the same vegetarian burger as in most Norwegian restaurants. However, price there is higher than in all other places I have been to.The staff and setting were excellent.

We stayed 1 night passing through in June. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, free bikes. Nice restaurant in Sami style.
