Pros +
- It is right beside the bus station. Not far from restaurants neither but the in-house cafe by the reception is amazing. Breakfast is good too. Room itself is standard. The front desk is very kind and helpful.
- Location was good for us opposite station. Good facilities.
- The hotel is literary acros from the train station. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast choice was very good..
Cons -
- Breakfast was good but a bit canteen style with self clearing- not really four star. Room was clean but previous occupants rubbish under bed and in shower area.
- Have seen its best times for sure. Worn out. Price is way too high compared to quality of the hotel.
- Most of the personnel of the reception was not taking contact, smiling or making you by any means feel welcome and noticed. Even when we had something to ask they seemed that they were bothered and they were not too interested in helping. An exception was the two receptionists that we encountered when checking out from the hotel. That one time we got friendly smile and nice little chat. The breakfast was not good. Allergens were not appropriately taken into consideration nor labelled and the quality of the ingredients felt a little bit poor. Even upon asking it was somewhat difficult to get gluten free alternatives. The personnel of the breakfast restaurant was friendly and well meaning but when we asked for some sweet as a gluten free option we got three small muffins, out of which one was hard as a rock and burned on the inside. The two other were edible. No parking options were offered by the hotel. Especially in winter time this is a major issue as you cannot get a warm space or electric heating for your car. The only option was to drive your car to some unattended public parking area behind the railway station.

Really friendly and helpful service staff.

The housekeeping personnel was exceptionally positive, helpful and forthcoming. They smiled, took contact and made an extra effort to help when a visitor needed something.

Reception staff are superb and helpful, including arranging taxis and luggage storage after checkout. The room is very clean. The hot water comes almost instantly in the bathroom and the fixtures work very well, with precision. The suitcase holder is built into the wall to save space - very cool! Overall, a very welcoming hotel.
The blanket is small and doesn't cover the whole bed. God help you if you have two people; it won't cover both. The restaurant is good but all food offered throughout the hotel is more expensive than the quality deserves. There is no microwave. Don't sit on the front edge of the armchair or it tips and sends you sprawling. You can't reduce the radiator heat very much to ensure a cooler room for a restful sleep.
Big and comfortable rooms
Lack of attention to detail: broken shower knob, reduced breakfast buffet
Nice modern hotel, clean with usual facilities
All ok
Location was excellent directly opposite the station. Breakfast was good, with really nice bread, but ran out of orange juice.
Room was too hot and noisy with the window open.
Excellent facilities. Very good breakfast. Ideally located for the railway.
Lots of great facilities if you were staying for a number of days, but hard to make the most of over one night, especially when some things closed quite early (eg the swimming pool)
The saunas are great, very good quality and very hot. The steak restaurant was lovely too
The lobby sitting area could be cosier and better designed to encourage you to linger and have a drink from the bar /cafe
Clean, smart and modern hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Very close to railway station. 10 minutes walk to town centre
Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a great room which was spacey, clean and comfortable.Breakfast buffet is good, as is the location across from the train station.
The room was okay and the gym was really nice!
Suggestions for improvement: The shower had a strange mechanism, when I wanted to make the water cooler, the control reverted back to some warmer "default" position. Is that intended or some defect? I had to fixate the control to get cooler water. There is also some rather sharp metal object right beside the bathroom door with no apparent function, but one easily scratches oneself at it when exiting the bathroom. Thanks!
Nice location and plenty of parking space. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast buffet is very good. There is a lot to choose from
The hotel was Close to Train station and city center The hotel had a nice view over the Dundret. The hotel had a nice lobby bar and outside seating even if the traffic was there
The bedroom size was small for the cost of room
room in general, free coffee, breakfast, location, nice staff
I asked for a quiet room and got a room directly beside elevator, had to change room. Automatic light in bathroom takes extreme long (up to 10 minutes) for switching off, through the glass walls of bathroom you see all the light lying in bed and try to sleep.
Lobby area, stakehouse restaurant, both were nice and cozy. The food at Stakehouse is very good.
Room shape was odd and lightning was not too good. Breakfast restaurant was a bit uncomfortably illuminated and decorated.
breakfast buffet is very good. wide range of options to compose one's breakfast including hot breakfast options. wide selection of drinks.front desk is always available and very helpfulcomfortable rooms, good beds
service in the restaurant (steakhouse). The food is okay though
Friendly and helpful staff. Neat lobby with food and beverages for sale.
