    Pros +

    • Centrally located on a walking street - no cars out front Rooms are modern with new Scandi design and bathroom amenities Make sure you allow plenty of time to enjoy one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve had in Europe
    • Parking/locationFantastic breakfast
    • Location was good.

    Cons -

    • The hallways remind me of 60s college dorms - lots of painted cinder block The bedroom doesn’t have adjustable temperature, but the windows open and there was a fan (but some nighttime noise from the nearby bars on the weekend)
    • Steep parking and tight- but we needed it
    • Way too expensive for what you get. The rooms look like 1992, the pool looks like 1972 and the restaurant looks like a failing restaurant from Hotel Hell with Gordon Ramsay.

Location , staff, the breakfast buffet and the fact that the restaurant stayed open past 8 pm when all other restaurants in the area would close. Also, it was quiet.

The shower would not stay hot, and my pillows smelled like other people’s heads. They needed cleaning.

Good location, nice clean hotel, very quiet at night, very friendly and helpful staff, very good bar serving Aura beer on tap, great! The staff are the best part of the hotel experience there.

Breakfast was very good. Staff is nice.

Hotel needs a renovation. Dark and old restaurant as well as corridors. Shower is minimal and wets down the entire bathroom with hot and cold water coming on and off. Still in 2025 you need to check in by writing manually by a form. Even though check-in was done online.

perfect location in the town centre - with own cellar car park ( chargeable) - very comfortable rooms with all facilities you would expect.. ( except a kettle! )

    Signage to carpark not clear!.

Friendly staff, great location, good breakfast

The breakfast options were staggering; I was spoilt for choice.

I found a chocolate wrapper and some dust bunnies the moment I first entered the room.

Breakfast was really good. Room was quite spacious to stay with family.

Temperature control of the room wasn't so good as it was quite hot during the night as well. Our room wasn't complemented with water heater & tea or coffee, though I was given a water heater upon request.

Very good breakfast and good personnel

The room and facilities were quite old. Still very clean though and the toilet was new. It might be just me but I hate shower curtains, especially in showers others than own home. For some reason, my room was quite warmer than other places of the hotel.

    Good location. Ok breakfast.

Furniture in the room is dirty. The whole place has been forgotten to the 90s.

    9SantaPosted on: 4-15-2024

Breakfast was excellent! We got confused about the parking, got little lost. Parked in the cities parking lot (3min walk) that was free of charge on Saturdays night and Sunday.

1 big bed instead of two single ones. We could have pushed them together, but the lightswitches and plugs would have been in the middle of bed. That is a small minus though. For a longer stay we would have made arrangements.

    Everything was fine

Clean, good location, good breakfast, professional staff

Noise on the first floor of the pub. The room was cold and I had to ask for another blanket. The dishes were not cleaned at breakfast, so people moved the dirty dishes to the next table to make room.

    5Civilian2012Posted on: 9-5-2023

    The food was great

Housekeeping was horrible. We stayed 2 days without our beds being made. We also had to use the same bathing towels for days.

    7AnnikaPosted on: 8-22-2023

Superb breakfast, comfy beds and pillows, but a bit outdated hotel rooms otherwise.

    9XanderPosted on: 8-9-2023

Nice location in the center of the city. Easy to walk around and find one of the many restaurants. The hotel itself also has a restaurant with a small, but tasty assortiment of meals.Breakfast is very nice. Good buffet, and a substantial selection of gluten free options. The rooms are not very special but clean and comfortable.

Parking is a bit hard to find, since you have to drive into the pedestrian area and then drive through a small corridor. Once you found it, it's OK. There's an entrance to the hotel on the back so you can access the parking lot easily.

The cleanliness, the staff and the food.

No tea or coffee in room. Needs a little TLC
