Hostería Posada del Sol

The town was not the nicest, however we were there for the nearby national park. The hotel was situated around a pool and garden which isolated us from the adjacent city noises.

The town was a bit grim. Also, the road to the hotel was in very poor shape and we had to drive very slowly to avoid bottoming out.

Lovely facilities, modern clean rooms, lovely swimming pool, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast.

A bit of a walk into town, but not a big issue.

The hotel provides a pleasant oasis in an urban location. The rooms were comfortable and the small garden welcome. Secure parking available. Reception staff were helpful and informative.

The breakfast was rather limited and unchanging. Some guests might find the location off putting.

The staff were extremely attentive and helpful, and the Hosteria-Spa was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool was a welcome relief after a day out in the heat. Secure car parking was also fantastic.

The town is desolate - (know if you go) so, this was a reprieve from that. The staff were again helpful and the beds were good.

Nice breakfast. As birders we liked the possibility to get an early start.

The area looked somewhat seedy, but we managed to get to an OK restaurant anyhow.

The rooms are set in a courtyard style around a lovely swimming pool and a great area to relax. Our room was spacious with a big comfortable bed. The shower was good with hot water and the AC was welcome. The WiFi worked really well for us. The staff were great - really helpful with local recommendations - and we were grateful to Ivan in particular for allowing us to have a later check out. This was much appreciated. The breakfast was very tasty and I really enjoyed the scrambled egg on toast. Parking was in a secure compound, although the area seemed perfectly safe.

Super cool hotel and Spa. The staff was fantastic and helped me with everything I was looking for. This is a great stop if your in the area to visit the National park

very comfortable room and bed, aircon was a blessing as it was HOT, and we enjoyed the pool. great breakfast too

a bit disappointed that the restaurant was not open. yes it was 1st Jan, but would have been good to know that in advance. dinner options very limited.

Colonial style layout with excellent quality furniture and layout. Private secure parking. top notch

checkin and checkout timing deviates from standards. Already having to vacate the room at 10am when breakfast and at 10am is a bit weird. And the motivation is to facilitate checkin at noon

Staff was really helpful and friendly.

Pool is not very clean.

Perfect location to access Calilegua National Park

We had a wonderful stay with useful tips of restaurants and specially about the park and other cities nearby.
