Although it is an old hotel the facilities were great. Very clean. Food was good. Value for money.
Hugely disappointing
The hotel is being renovated but they are doing a poor job. In our bedroom the bathroom ceiling light was hanging 300mm from the ceiling. They have removed the doors of the fitted wardrobe to create space for a form of desk leaving very little space for clothes storage. The food in the restaurant was very poor quality. The curry was a stew with no spice. None of this was helped by poor service throughout.

The place was perfectly located for a stop over after travelling through Baviaanskloof.It was good value for money. Air conditioner was most welcome in the summer heat.
Secure off street parking was located at the rear of the hotel with no direct access. We had to walk back on the street to enter through the main entrance. Restaurant in hotel was convenient.
The rooms are in a pristine condition each with its own ensuite bathroom. The restaurant offers delicious meals and the staff is very friendly.

No porter, or trolley to help with luggage - we are elderly! Rooms very far from secure parking.
The room is very clean and comfortable.This is always our first choice for birthdays and wedding celebration.Food served is of very high standard and the drinks are ice cold on a hot day!

Ashley the bar man was helpful and friendly.
The manager was rude and nobody told us that the reception, bar or restaurant would be closed on Sunday. Bed was not that comfortable either.
The waitress was fantastic and super friendly.
