Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff, great food.

Crossing the busy street to get to our room was a bit of a hassle.

Staff were excellent; food very good indeed; room and pools plus maintenance of gardens excellent. It seemed like a very well-managed hotel - attention to detail was great. Not one irritating or disappointing aspect to the stay.

This was a wonderful stop over with a large quiet room, good security, in house restaurant and in a convenient area for viewing the magnificent buildings of Tulbagh

Perhaps a porter to assist with luggage directly from the parking area.

I had a wonderful stay . The staff were exceptionally professional, friendly, and helpful throughout my visit. I absolutely loved my room — it was spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered great privacy.

They had a variety of options in their menu. The meals were freshly prepared, had generous portions and well presented.

Staff were wonderful, very friendly. Room was more than adequate and comfortable. The breakfasts were also very nice.

For us South Africans the price of the food on the menu was very high. We had one meal there, but as my husband is vegetarian there was not much to choose. We suggest the waitrons write down the orders, as they were coming back often to check what we wanted.

Please provide a few more swimming pool reclining chairs!!!

Breakfast excellent and very friendly staff!

The toilet was behind the door which made it difficult to get in and out the bathroom…

Breakfast was delcious, service & friendliness of staff was wonderful.

The own lost its water supply on Saturday night, so there was no way to flush toilets the next morning. Fortunately, we'd showered before the water stopped flowing.

Food and service was excellent.

Problem with the mosquitoes and bedlights above the bed without switches.

The staff from the reception to waiting staff and manager were all delightful and helpful. And almost all of them are ladies :) Very comfortable bed, spacious rooms decorated tastefully to reflect heritage. Thanks for a good experience. We will definitely be back.

The room was very traditional in the Cape Dutch style. We enjoyed the meals in the hotel and the atmosphere in the town

Spacious room with nice swimming pool, breakfast and dinner in the hotel was very good and beyond our expectations. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
