La Cantera is a designer lodge set high in the scenic El Calafate. Guests can enjoy a boat trip, 4x4 excursion, or guided hiking tour. They can also relax with a glass of wine and watch the sunset from the cozy lounge, which has floor-to-ceiling windows. The rooms at Hotel La Cantera are comfortable, with mountain lodge décor and free Wi-Fi. All of the rooms feature a cable TV and a DVD player, and have private balconies. Some of the rooms have a hydro-massage tub. The restaurant and bar at La Cantera Boutique serves fine cuisine with a creative twist, and the bar has fine South American wines. A breakfast buffet with seasonal fruits and croissants is served daily. Free parking is also available on site.

- Breakfast with good choices and staff reception
- Staff was very nice and the room was clean
Cons -
- In way to city center i found many dogs could be fight human ,better to order taxi
- Very very dated hotel, hard to justify the exorbitant price per night. Paper thin walls.
