Pros +
- Quirky old architecture, small sweeping staircase, visible staff presence on desk 24/7. Really helpful staff, great lift, excellent view of town street art, reverse cycle aircon, safety deposit box, very comfy bed, environmental use of electricity for lights, fresh water at breakfast, clean breakfast area with selection of breads/pastries, very close to carpark with reasonable prices.
- The staff were nice, the parking was good, secured, close by. The breakfast was good, fresh & also very clean place, attentive & friendly staff.
Cons -
- Room was exceedingly hot and could not turn off the water heater, hotel was in the dodgy end of the road with lotsa seedy looking dudes hanging around at all hours
- The whole neighborhood needs more TLC. We did not feel comfortable or safe walking around the hotel. The hotel also made me feel claustrophobic too tight for my taste.
