The breakfasts were OK, fresh and prepared every morning by very friendly staff. Staff was also very friendly and helpful in all aspects of our visit.

According to the decision of the owner (Old Lady) the interiors were not ventilated - you could feel an old and stinky air. The owner also asked us to lock the doors by key always - which is strange and bothering as well. A lot of inappropriate things are collected into the interiors which are not match the design and being very heavy in terms of view and every day perception. The building has a very big potential to being very attractive - but old fashioned managing style is significantly diminishing the value of the spot. Tennis court is not working, Jacuzzi is not working, there is no any gym or bicycles, etc...All in all - the Old Lady has to switch from old fashioned style to the more modern ones.

Nice, quiet location with a unique main house in beautiful surroundings.

Charming hotel – interestingly decorated ground-floor rooms in the main house, comfortable lounge in the annex building, quietness (there were very few other guests when we stayed though), views over the Byälven river, easy parking, walking distance to town centre (approx. 25 mins), friendly manager.

Nothing – perhaps there could have been more choice for breakfast, but it was still perfectly fine.

Sweet little town in western Sweden. We just stopped through for the night and it was just what we needed. The host was very communicative and responsive, which we like.

We were excited that this was the only place on our trip with a bathtub! Unfortunately, when we drained it, it leaked and started to flood the floor. That was a little anxiety provoking. But we caught it early and told the host.

Nice place full of nature, history, pleasure. Good choice for a weekend. So many great lakes and national parks to plan a hiking route.

the hotel is beautiful, an old manor with great decor and a wonderful garden to the lake. The area where the hotel is located is not great, but it doesn't matter you don't walk around.Breakfast is served in the dinning room, again a wonderful place, and it was very good.

The location of this wonderful place was very nice. Quite and with great outdoor space right by a beautiful river, but also very close to the city center. The house itself was a beautiful well kept old mansion with historical furniture and accessories giving the place the right "vibe" and honoring the place. The staff were very welcoming and made sure our stay was perfect, and the great breakfast overlooking the garden topped it all. We will come back again if the opportunity comes :-)

Very nice place and a fantastic atmosphere. Very clean and comfortable. We spend the night as a break on our way to Sälen.
