Pros +

• The fact that this place existed and let me in was a major bonus as I had arrived. Not knowing that Taylor Swift was on in concert. The owner was very accommodating in terms of letting me in at short notice, and I do appreciate that. This is why I have given it a 2, not a 1, because really, that is where the positives end having now met the owner, I can only assume that he was unaware that Taylor Swift was on, as it was pretty much the only cheap place in Buenos Aires that evening. I paid for four nights, I fled to Uruguay after three The towel was of an extremely high quality. This was just what I needed to be correct with 31 heat with no air-conditioning!
• Alexis is a really nice guy and I experienced a good welcome. Communication is rapid and effective. The bed is comfortable. The position is perfect near everything in Buenos Aires. The entire place is beautiful for my taste.

Cons -

• Unfortunately, many things. Too many to name, but Ill have a go: 1. It is extremely dirty. The bedding, the walls (full of mysterious stains) are really poor throughout the property. 2. I struggle to recall anywhere where I have slept as poorly as this because of the ridiculous noises at all times during the day and night. I dont spend very much time in the room during the day, which is as well. Late into the evening, there was creaking, videos being played by either one of the other guests or the upstairs lodger (who was actually very nice to be fair, and folded my laundry for me, although more on that later). The room is directly under his, and the floorboards seem to be made of the creakiest possible wood that the owner could have found. It is really beyond description how difficult it is to sleep here. One morning at 5 am, an alarm began somewhere in the house. It continued to put itself onto snooze every five minutes for over two hours. I could not locate it. There was also street noise. 3. Ive stayed in places where the owner lives around the property, near the property, next door etc, but never have. I been woken up by the owner at 9 am, who walked into my room without my permission , gave me a thumbs up and then immediately left again. This is just not okay in any world. He speaks no English, which is not necessarily a problem, but you surely have to have some kind of understanding about customer satisfaction, and the way in which you conduct yourself as an owner and have some common sense as to how to correctly communicate with people. I also echo the differing price comments from other reviews as I paid in cash, and Im not entirely sure about his conversion rate 4. The bathroom is appalling, the Wi-Fi doesnt work properly in all areas, there are other guests hanging around, laundry charges are applied without being stated, the price is incorrect, bed sheets were dirty. More stuff but not enough characters to fit in in. I will not be returning
