All Good
Really comfy rooms, lovely bathrooms (great to have a bath) dinner was lovely and breakfast as well. Team could not do enough for us or get enough for us. Portions were really good and food delicious.
Beautiful rooms, although the pub is over 300 years old the rooms have lovely modern facilities
Nothing it was all good
Rural and quiet. Well kept beer and very friendly staff and owners
Great location, great food, friendly people and very comfortable.
Amazing country pub. Food was great
Bar shut early on Saturday evening when we were still drinking
Breakfast and evening meal was excellentLocation couldn't have been better for the "Tarr Steps" walk we went forLovely cosy pub, log fires with excellent rooms, very clean and tidyThey put the football on especially for us
We thought the pub started to close up a little early. 22.30 on a Saturday night. The pub was quiet and we were probably ready for bed anyway
Great location and a cozy, old world pub. comfortable bed and nice room.
We visited many years ago but this time our stay just didn't quite match up. The beer wasn't very well kept and the food, although ok wasn't the best. I would still recommend a visit as this could just be a one off.
Disappointing
We had a serious complaint about a treatment from a member of staff. We have the hotel a month with a few reminders to deal with the complaint and send an apology but were told that the manager was not well and could not comment. The stay was utterly spoiled by the interaction with one member of staff - but failure to address the complaint lies with the management.
Clean, friendly, great food.
Food and service were very goodBed was comfortable
Heating controls in the room
Very comfortable, nicely decorated, friendly hotel with good service and good menu.
