Holiday Inn Ellesmere Port/Cheshire Oaks By IHG

it was easy to find and exceptionally good value for money

Clean room, quick check in from James and all staff friendly. Excellentl breakfast, very fresh and best one I had at any hotel. Parking was great and good stay if you need a base for cheshire oaks as only 5 min drive.

Sauna very small and pool too cold but thats just my opinion.

Staff are lovely, location is good, reasonable price, good breakfast

Room was cold and could not alter the temperature

Great location only a short 5 minute drive to shopping outlets, designer outlet, hotel accommodation and all amenities were great and the breakfast was amazing. All the staff were very nice and accommodating.

Friendly staff, great scenic location, clean spacious rooms, good choice at breakfast, free parking

The weather

Ease of access to where I work, ample parking and as always very friendly staff

Pillows

The location was perfect for us. The staff are really welcoming and helpful. At breakfast, the team were very friendly and very efficient. The breakfast was fully stocked and great quality. There was so much choice for everyone.

The bathroom needed a bit of attention. There was the start of mould on the grouting and the paint is looking tired. Just needs a bit of a revamp!

Quiet, friendly and helpful staff and good location, rooms were clean and tidy, good food choices.

Bed was too firm and uncomfortable

Good parking, nice views (considering the area), comfy beds, clean room. good breakfast, EXCEPTIONAL staff. Warm and friendly from the minute we arrived. Absolute heroes when our JustEat takeaway didn’t arrive. They sorted us food from the hotel, rang the restaurant for us and even gave us complimentary drinks (Sam was a star!). The staff really went above and beyond to help me and my son, their customer service was exceptional.

Furniture a little dated but perfectly clean.

The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are very polite and helpful.

Just my last day i was to check out at 12 noon, and the lady who was cleaning wasn't aware so she came to disturb my sleep.

All staff exceptionally friendly. Breakfast very good quality. Nice location.

door closers on bedrooms need overhaul to limit noise

If going hear again would go to a higher floor not the 1st as noise from ground floor.

Noise above bar.

Perfect location, very clean hotel. Staff went above and beyond for us as a large group with lots of kids. Very accommodating and welcoming

We loved everything, we just wished we could have stayed longer. But we will hopefully get the chance the return in the future

Good choices at breakfast, bed was very comfortable, staff were pleasant and friendly

LocationAtmosphere Clean

Not enough light in roomNo breakfast menu in room if wanted room service

The design and attention to detail was great and the reception area had a welcoming feelThe room was well laid out and had everything that we needed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful And the breakfast was excellent

However there were areas that looked tired - particularly the windows The window in room 318 was in poor condition and there was no way to open it.The ceiling had been repainted in a couple of areas and the difference in the colour was obvious We had a softer and firmer pillow, but they were both lumpy and tired

Spotlessly clean, very comfy bed, location, excellent staff.

Pool bit too small. beer expensive.

Very comfortable room Excellent breakfastStaff very helpful and friendly

Room was a great size, was nice to have a chair/lounge area. Bed was very comfortable

The bathroom was quite dated. Could do with a refurb

Loved it all. Was such a lovely little break. We only live in runcornAll staff, cleaners, reception, bar, and restaurant all amazing. Sharon in the restaurant especially was fabulous, couldn't do any more for us. Amazing. Whole stay... defo will return

Nothing to report.
